Chapter 9: Wedding Crasher

Prompto POV:

Day of the Wedding.

No one has seen [Name] since yesterday. The 4 of us even went looking for her before we were sent to go get prepared for the wedding.

I could tell Noct was still worried about [Name]'s safety but we tried to keep him as calm as possible.

Being finished, I walked to Noct's room, faintly knocking on the door, causing Noctis to turn his head, seeing his high school friend in the doorframe.

"Heya, Noct, you look great"

"Thanks...any sign of [Name]?"

I shook my head as his face fell into a worried expression.

He looked out the window and let out a sigh.

I placed my hand on his shoulder before walking to his side.

"We're going to find her, don't you worry" His face managed to make a weak smile before I was asked to leave so the tailor can work on Noctis' again.

I left and started walking towards the main hall where the ceremony would be held.

I looked out a hall window and noticed some magiteks wandering around the town trying to remain hidden.

Magiteks? What are they doing here?

I knew the tailor wouldn't let me back into Noct's room so I ran as fast I could to find Gladio and Iggy but they were no where to be seen but I knew the ceremony would start as soon as I would make it out to the main hall.

I sighed in defeat as I rushed to the main hall and took my place by the altar along with Ignis and Gladio.

Noctis POV:

Today was the day.

I would be forced to marry my childhood friend.

I wished it was [Name]

But where was she?...

I got out of my train of thought when I heard the tailor say, "The ceremony is starting soon, your majesty" I thanked her as I exited the door, walking toward the main hall.

I didn't want to marry Luna. I only saw her as my closest friend from my childhood.

I've changed.

I fell in love with [Name]

Either way, I couldn't change today, my fate was sealed from the very beginning.

I made it to the main hall as I walked down the aisle noticing my friends at the end, and the people I met outside Insomnia by the seats.

Still no [Name]...

I sighed as I made it to the end, standing next to my friends as Luna came down the aisle with everyone standing.

"I do" She looked at Noctis who had a smile which she could tell was fake.

"Prince Noctis, do you take Lady Lunafreya to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I-" A large explosion silenced the crowd before people yelled in terror as the gates were opened revealing two faces, Ravus, and You.
