3rd Person POV:

As Noctis warped, [Name] went behind him, diverting his attention away from her. "Let's change our battlegrounds, shall we?" [Name] slyly said.

She changed the chamber into a similar battlefield where Noctis and his friends formerly fought daemon Versatel and Iedolas.

"Now..where were we?"

"I was about to set [Name] free" Noctis said.

She laughed.

"Don't be so sure, your majesty".

[Name]'s mandala formed behind her, as a wyvern flew out of it. "Mortuorum.." the wyvern roared as [Name] called for it.

Noctis summons his armiger and flew right toward her.

She didn't move.

Only watched as Noctis flew above her, about to summon all the royal tomb weapons on her. She only watched him, but that didn't stop Noctis, as he was heading right forward [Name].

"Mortuorum.."

[Name] said once more, forcing Mortuorum to hit Noctis, protecting [Name] in the process. Noctis flew back, nearly hitting the wall, but saving himself just in time.

"Nice try, Noctis.."

"But..Mortuorum's hungry".

Noctis growled under his breath.

He flew right towards her again, not caring about what happened last time. Mortuorum, flew right at Noctis, but Noctis managed to dodge it, going right for [Name].

Mortuorum, screeched seeing how he failed.

He let out a deafening cry, powerful enough to send Noctis off course of [Name]. The armiger drained his energy, as he fell, tired and powerless to continue any further.

He tried catching his breath, looking over his shoulder to see an approaching [Name], the metal boots she wore, getting louder and louder every time she approached.

Noctis struggled to remain conscious. He was going to fight for [Name]. "Don't you see Noctis?" she kneeled down to his level. "After all you've done, it was all for nothing. You can't do anything".

"N-No.." Noctis groaned, refusing to make eye contact with [Name]. "I lost my father. I lost what I was fighting for. But..she changed that"

Noctis suddenly disappeared.

[Name] flinched at the sight, peeking up to find Noctis, miles away from her.

He was standing again.

His clothes, ripped to spreads from Mortuorum's powerful wind gusts.

The mandala.

Glowing behind him, while his eyes glowed red.

He summoned his armiger, the weapons, spiraling around him.

A silhouette of [Name] could be seen in his eyes, the memories and the joys they both shared.

He knew she wore [Name]'s silhouette, but also knew, that wasn't her.

Not the same [Name] he had grown up with,

..laughed with,

..cried with,

...

..not the same person he fell in love with.

"I'm not going to let her die for nothing"
