-CHAPTER SEVEN-
YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE
Ann laid crawled up in her bed, the only sound she heard being the noises the ceiling fan blades made going around and around, but other than that it was silent. Ann had been like this since Zach left, and she was too scared to even walk around the campus anymore without him. Her heart raced at every little sound she heard, and she didn't make a sound herself as she continued to lay there.
"This is ridiculous, I'm scared of the guy that I willingly lost my virginity to, but that wasn't Michael... at least, not the Michael I thought I knew..."
Ann, feeling as though she needed to check herself out, crept to her bathroom. She had been feeling a pain where the supposed Michael had grabbed her leg, and she lifted her dress up to see three distinct scratch marks where he dug his nails into her skin, drawing blood from it.
"How the Hell?" She said, running one of her fingers over the fresh marks.
"Michael couldn't of done that, he wouldn't of done that..."
She felt tears sting her eyes, feeling as though it could just be Michael's true colors coming out, that he truly had an evil nature inside of him.
"No, there was definitely something wrong with him... I just don't know what..."
Ann finally composed herself, and decided to address the scratch marks on her leg. She found the first-aid box, and quickly treated them before wrapping her thigh in a bandage.
"Good thing they teach first-aid here..." She said as she worked.
She then decided to change out of her date clothes, and try to get some sleep. As she did, she finally looked in the mirror and noticed that her lips had blood on them- from what seemed to be a bite mark.
"Okay, I'm really getting freaked out by this..."
Ann wiped the blood from her mouth and stuck a small bandage on it where the bite mark was, and she looked at herself once more in the mirror.
"I look pretty fucked up..." She said, looking at the bandage under where her night shirt stopped around her mid-thigh, and then looking at her face.
She walked out of the bathroom and crawled into her bed, not wanting to shut the lights off before.
"I don't want to have another nightmare again, I pretty much lived one tonight..."
Ann laid her head down on her pillow, thinking of what happened with Michael and if Zach was alright- he said he was going to go take care of Michael, all by himself.
"Don't hurt him, please..."
The words she told Zach before he left rung fresh in her mind, which left her to wonder- why did she care so much about him not hurting Michael?
Ann didn't want to think about it anymore, she just wanted to doze off so she wouldn't have to think about it anymore- she just wanted to sleep, at that very moment. So with that, she closed her eyes and managed to doze off like she had wanted to- only a few minutes before a pair of glowing red eyes peered underneath her curtain...
---
*Ann walked the empty corridors of the school, the only sound she heard being her own footsteps.
"Hello, is anybody here, anybody at all?"
She walked out into the night after hearing no response, hearing no sound what-so-ever, not even the sound of the usual crickets chirping. She faintly started hearing a creepy, ominous sound in the background- almost like the creepy background music in a horror flick.
