If you didn't read the description this book is basically about an au where everyone is given a watch on their 5th birthday that counts down the time until they meet the one person they are meant to be with - their soulmate.
Dan Howell, shy and just starting sixth form, has always loved the thought that one day he will have a soulmate, one person that will love him like nobody has ever loved him. He spent years imagining the perfect person. Dan only has a few friends and isn't prepared for the new life ahead of him after sixth form. But according to his watch, he will meet his soulmate there... but things don't work out the way he wants.
