Dan shoved his hands in his pockets as he and PJ walked up to their new sixth form. His butterflies were more hyper than ever, and he couldn't control them.

The building looked nice enough from the outside, just your standard, ordinary college building. Dan bit his lip nervously. He didn't really like school, never had. Too many people, too many expectations he had to live up to. But of course, without school, he would never had met PJ or Louise.

PJ looked round at him. "Dannyfire..." he whispered. "...are you ok?" Dan nodded his head but said nothing. He looked at PJ, right at his startlingly green eyes. "Yeah... I guess I'm just nervous, I mean, today being the day and all..." Dan said taking his hands out from his pockets and clenching them into fists by his sides. PJ nodded understandingly. PJ always understood. Always.

They walked through the front set of double doors and found themselves in a reception. There was a woman behind the desk, she looked as if she were in her thirties. Her auburn hair was pulled back into a bun, she had hazel eyes and a warm smile.

"Hello boys! My name is Miss. Fyre, and I'm the receptionist, if you didn't already work that out. If you'd like to go through the door on the right, you'll see another door to you're left, and that will lead you outside, that's where most of the new students are waiting." Miss Fyre smiled kindly at them, and pointed at the door.

PJ said "Thanks" and Dan nodded, before walking out the door, locating the next door after that, and walking out to a green area full of students.

"Wow... there's a lot of people" Dan said, stopping just outside the door.

"What did you expect, it's a college!" PJ laughed, punching Dan playfully on the arm. But Dan still seemed apprehensive to go any further.

"Come on" PJ said, pulling Dan along. You'll be fine, I promise." Dan sighed but walked along with PJ. In 4 short hours, he would meet his soulmate.

"Hey Dan! PJ!" A familiar voice called, and sure enough, bouncing towards them was Louise. PJ and Dan hugged her when she got to them. "Alright Louise?" PJ asked, grabbing a lock of her blonde and pink hair and wrapping it around his finger. "Your hair is so god damn curly Louise, it really suits you."

Dan smiled and whispered to PJ "Just like your damn green eyes." PJ laughed out loud and Louise smiled.

"I don't know what you're talking about, but I'm gonna pretend I do."

Dan looked at the big plastic wall clock on the opposite side of the area they were standing in.

"I've got ten minutes until my first class - I have English." he said to the other two.

"English? Why did you pick English?!" Louise asked incredulously, staring at Dan.

PJ looked at her. "You'd be surprised Louise, Dan likes to write and always has, and he's pretty good at it too. He likes to read as well, you should see the stacks of books back at our place."

Dan smiled weakly at PJ and mumbled "I'm not that good... and we don't have that many books..." PJ Just rolled his eyes. Louise was still looking at Dan like English was the weirdest thing in the world.

"Well you go have fun with English." Louise said, with a hint of sarcasm.

Dan looked sideways at her. "Oh I will Louise. I will." PJ laughed.

"Bye then, just Dan."

"Bye Peej."

"Oh no, it's just PJ now." He smiled, and walked away, to find his class, taking Louise with him.
