Janina's pov: "Guys, I'm literally can't get over Zach Herron's new post." I said as I showed my six closest friends his new post for the like thousandth time.
"I still ship you guys." Julia said.
Julia is one of my really smart friends. She's not really into the Why Don't We boys that much and she is completely the opposite of me. Sometimes I wonder how she stands being my friend, but I'm glad I have her.
"Why thank ya." I said smiling.
So let me introduce myself. My name is Janina. I'm 15 years old going to be 16 soon. It is currently summer time so I'm hanging out with my friends. I love soccer. I also love singing, but I will only sing in front of my friends and family. My friends tell me that I have an amazing voice and can actually sing, but I don't believe it. My six closest friends are Julia, (as I told you about) Kendra, Laurin, Meggie, Kortnie, and Jennie. They're all around the same age as me. Some are a couple years old, but that's okay. They're all pretty smart as well, but Julia is definitely the one who studies more. Tonight all six of us were having a sleep over at my grandparents house. My mom said she'd come and check on us every now and then since my grandparents are actually on vacation right now.
"You're welcome, and remember I'm planning the wedding." She joked.
"Of course, how could I forget." I said chuckling.
"I wish we could talk to them." Kendra spoke up.
"Same." I said sighing.
"That'd be great." Laurin said.
"Guys, I just got an idea!" I exclaimed.
"What is it this time?" Kortnie asked rolling her eyes at me.
"Well I know they probably won't answer, but why don't we make a group dm with them in it." I suggested.
"They're never gonna answer." Meggie said sighing.
"Good because I plan on embarrassing myself in that group dm." I said chuckling.
"You guys need to have some faith." Julia said.
We all laughed at that, expect for Julia. She seemed dead serious.
"Love ya Jules, but having faith ain't gonna cut it." I said sighing.
I pulled out my phone from my pocket then went on Instagram. I made a group dm and named it "Group Dm Goals😉". Then I quickly spammed it a bit.
Me: hello
Me: this is a group dm to make new friends and to be able to talk to you guys
Me: well kinda
Me: it's mostly to show my love for you, zach dean herron
ogkendra: janina, really? already trying to embarrass us🤦♀️
ogkortnie: ^honestly
ogjulia: im surprised you added me
Me: wow i feel loved @ kendra & @ kortnie also of course i added you!! you're obviously my favorite and the only one to keep us all sane @ julia
ogjulia: wow did i just hear something nice come from janina??
ogjennie: are you okay?? @ janina
Me: you guys make me sound like I'm rude 24/7 @ julia @ jennie
ogkortnie: can ya blame them though??
Me: eh not really🤷♀️ @ kortnie
ogmeggie: you guys are really blowing up my phone i feel so popular.
oglaurin: ^fr though
Me: 😉😉
"Guys this isn't working." I said turning off my phone.
"We haven't even been messaging back and forth for ten minutes yet." Julia pointed out.
"Let's go swimming cause I don't feel like waiting around to see if they will answer." I suggested.
"Yesss!" Meggie exclaimed.
We all got changed then we swimming. About an hour later we decide to start spamming the group dm again.
Me: hello im zach herron's future gf and may i just say he's super attractive
ogkortnie: there you go again already embarrassing us
Me: it's not like they will open this
Me: so I don't see what harm I'm doing
Me: 🤷♀️
ogjennie: i hope they do open it so you look like a fool
Me: my first impression to my future boyfriend would suck then whoops
oglaurin: 🤦♀️😂
I turned off my phone and looked at my friends. Who soon enough put their phones away and looked at me.
"Guys I'm screwed if they ever see those messages." I said.
"Maybe Zach will fall in love with you after those messages." Kortnie joked.
"Don't joke about Zach and my love." I said joking as well.
They all bursted out laughing. I tried to keep a straight face, but end up laughing along with them.
