chapter forty one

Janina's pov: "Time to go to New York City!" Jennie exclaimed as Kendra started driving.

"I'm so excited." Julia said.

"Same." Kortnie said.

I stayed silent and just looked out the window.

"Hey, Janina you've been really quiet, you okay?" Sarah said.

I turned towards her and gave a small smile.

"I'm fine." I replied.

"You're not, now tell us what happened." Meggie said.

I sighed.

"It's just that I was on FaceTime with Zach yesterday and he seemed kind of off, that's all." I said running a hand through my hair.

"Did you ask him what was wrong?" Kendra asked not taking her eyes off the road.

I nodded even though she couldn't see me.

"I did and he said that nothing was wrong." I replied.

"Maybe he just misses you." Laurin said shrugging.

I shook my head.

"It's something else, I just don't know what." I said.

"Maybe you're just overthinking like usual." Kortnie said.

"Maybe." I said.

"Don't overthink, it's probably nothing." Julia said.

"What if it is something though?" I asked.

"What could if really be though?" Jennie asked.

"What if he ch-" I started to say, but Sarah cut me off.

"He would never cheat on you, I've seen the way he looks at you." Sarah said.

"Yeah, the way he looks at you is like you're the only one for him." Meggie chimed in.

"So there's no way he'd cheat on you." Meggie added.

"You don't know that." I mumbled.

"I'm sure he didn't cheat, but if he did then I will personally kill him and the hoe he cheated on you with." Jennie said.

"Thanks, Jen." I said chuckling.

*time skip to being in nyc*

The girls and me are currently in our hotel room waiting for the boys to arrive.

"We should get Christina to come here." Meggie said.

"I would say yes to that, but I texted her earlier and she said she has some meeting then she's going to Target with her roommates." I said.

"How about after Target?" Julia asked.

"The boys will be here by then so she'd be waiting for Corbyn." I replied.

The seven of us are all in the hotel room that Julia and Jennie were sharing. I was sharing a room with Sarah, and Kendra was sharing with Kortnie. While Laurin and Meggie were sharing a room.

"I'm bored." Kortnie said sighing.

"Same." I said.

"Wait Janina, do you remember Shawna?" Sarah asked me.

"Of course." I said.

"We should go out for lunch and invite her!" She exclaimed.

"Oh my gosh yes!" I said excitedly.

"Wait who's Shawna?" Julia asked.

Then Sarah and me explained how last time we went to New York City, we ran into this fan of the boys and how she was so nice, so we basically became friends.
