chapter forty

(This chapter will be the same day Janina went to the mall with her friends but as Zach's pov).

Zach's pov: "Zach, someone's here to see you." Daniel called.

"Coming!" I yelled.

I got up from my bed then walked downstairs and walked over to the door where Daniel was. Daniel moved aside and let the person in. My mouth dropped when I saw it was Chloe. Daniel walked away from us.

"Hey, Zachy." Chloe said smiling.

"Chloe, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"You didn't come to visit my family and me when you were in Dallas like I told you too so I decided to come visit you here." She said shrugging.

"But how'd you get our address?" I asked.

"Your mom gave it to me awhile ago when we were still together." She said shrugging.

"Oh." I said.

"So is it okay if I stay here for a few days?" She asked.

As much as I wanted to tell her no, I knew I couldn't since she was already here.

"Uh yeah, I guess so." I said rubbing the back of my neck.

"Great." She said smiling.

"Where should I sleep?" She asked.

"You can stay in my room and I'll stay on the couch in the living room." I said.

She frowned.

"You could stay in your room with me." She said.

I shook my head.

"I'm dating Janina, I'm not going to be unloyal to her." I said.

"I promise nothing will happen." She said.

"I'm staying in the living room and that's final." I said.

She sighed.

"Okay." She mumbled.

I showed Chloe up to my room then quickly went downstairs to the living room bringing my phone with me.

"How come she's here?" Daniel asked as I sat down beside him.

"Honestly I have no clue." I said rolling my eyes.

"Wait who's here?" Jack asked as the other guys and him walk into the living room.

"Chloe." I said once again rolling my eyes.

"Chloe as in your ex, Chloe?" Jonah asked.

I nodded.

"Before you ask I'm not sure why she's here and apparently she got our addresses from my mom back when we were still dating." I said.

"Are you gonna tell Janina that she's here?" Corbyn asked.

"No, nothing will happen so I don't want her to worry." I replied.

"But wouldn't it be a good idea if you just told her now?" Corbyn asked.

"I agree with Zach, Janina would end up worrying too much about it and Zach's smart enough to not let anything happen." Jack said.

"But what if something does happen?" Daniel asked.

"Do you not trust me?" I asked raising an eyebrow at him.

"I do trust you, I just don't trust her." Daniel said.

"Listen I won't let anything happen and if something does happen I'll just tell Janina right away." I said.

"Okay." They all said.
