Zach's pov: I tapped my fingers against my knees as I looked out the airplane's window. Luke and me aren't sitting by one another, which I really don't mind considering I can't stand him. There was a middle aged man sitting in the seat next to the aisle and a girl -who I'm assuming is just a year older than me- is sitting right next to me. I'm also assuming she's the middle aged man's daughter, but I could be wrong.
"You seem kinda nervous, is everything okay?" The girl asked me.
I didn't take my eyes off the clouds just outside my window.
"Yeah, everything is fine." I replied, not wanting to bother a complete stranger with my problems.
"You're obviously not, but I get it if you don't want to talk about it with me." She said.
I sighed then looked over at her.
"I rather not bother someone I don't know with my problems." I said.
"Look my name is Cecilia and I'm seventeen, there now you know me so you can tell me about your problems." She said with a small smile.
I chuckled.
"I messed up my relationship with my girlfriend and I'm actually headed to see her to try fixing our relationship, but I'm scared that she won't take me back." I said.
"How exactly did you mess up?" She asked.
"I basically accused her of cheating on me, even though she wasn't." I said.
"And you're sure she wasn't?" She asked.
I nodded.
"She would never do that." I said.
"Then why would you think that?" She asked.
"Because I'm jealous of how close she is with the guy since he was her first boyfriend." I said.
She nodded.
"Does she still love him?" She asked.
I shook my head.
"Not like she used to no." I replied.
"Then why were you so worried?" She asked.
"It's probably because I was dumb and cheated on her twice." I said.
Her mouth dropped.
"You cheated on her twice a before and she still took you back!" She exclaimed.
I slowly nodded my head.
"No offense, but the fact she trusted you enough the second time and you didn't trust her to not cheat is kind of messed up." She said shaking her head.
"So I don't have a chance to get back together with her, do I?" I asked.
She sighed.
"If I was her I wouldn't of taken you back after the second time you cheated-" She started to say, but paused.
"But she must really love you to have taken you back so honestly I wouldn't be surprised if she took you back once again." She finished.
"So you think she'll take me back?" I asked, feeling kind of hopefully.
"I'm not for sure, but she probably will." She said.
"Thank you, Cecilia for letting me bother you with my problems." I said chuckling.
"No problem-" She started to say before laughing a bit, "I never actually got your name."
"Oh right, my name is Zach." I said.
She smiled.
"No problem, Zach." She said with a smile.
I smiled back before looking back out the airplane's window.
*after landing*
"It was nice meeting you, Cecilia." I said.
"You too, Zach." Cecilia said.
"Maybe, we'll see each other again someday." I said.
She smiled and nodded.
"Maybe, we will." She said before walking away with her dad.
I made my way to Luke, who was looking at me with disapproval.
"What?" I asked.
"Who was that girl you were just talking to?" He asked.
"She was sitting by me on the flight." I replied.
"Is she gonna be another Kaylie?" He asked.
I shook my head quickly.
"No, she's not." I said.
"I honestly completely forgot about Kaylie." I added.
"You better not hurt Janina ever again." He said as we headed to baggage claim.
Once we got our bags we went outside and got into an Uber that was waiting for us then the Uber drove us to Janina's house.
To be continued...
