Janina's pov: knock knock...
My eyes fluttered open as I heard the knock on the door. I looked down at my outfit and realized I must have fallen right to sleep when I laid down in the bed. Which means the whole rooftop incident was all just a dream. I sighed in relief. Then there was another knock at my door reminding me that someone was there. I got up from the bed and walked over to the door. I quickly checked the peep hole and saw Zach. I started to slightly feel nervous that my dream would become a reality. I took in a deep breath before I opened the door.
"Hey, Zach." I said.
"Janina, I've missed you so much!" Zach exclaimed as he practically throw himself at me.
I chuckled and quickly wrapped my arms around his neck as he wrapped his arm my back.
"I've missed you too." I said.
He pulled away from the hug.
"Can I come inside?" He asked.
I nodded and stepped aside so he would have room to walk in. He came inside and walked straight to the bed, where he sat down.
"Okay so Kaylie is only here because she is now apparently apart of our team." He said as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"You two aren't back together though, right?" I asked.
His eyes widened and he quickly shook his head.
"No no no no no, god no!" He exclaimed.
I laughed.
"Okay, good." I said.
"Why would you think that when I told you I would never get back together with her?" He asked.
"I had a really weird dream before you showed up that we went to the rooftop and you basically told me that you two were back together." I explained.
"Oh." He said.
"Wait did I wake you up?" He asked.
I nodded.
"I'm so sorry." He apologized.
I softly chuckled.
"It's fine, Zach." I said.
"Are you sure?" He asked.
I nodded.
"Yes, I'm sure." I said.
"Okay, good." He said.
"So why'd you come to see me anyways?" I asked.
"Because I missed you a lot and wanted to explain right away why Kaylie is here." He said.
"I've missed you a lot too, Zach." I said.
"Also please do not let Kaylie get to you, she has nothing on you, you are literally perfect." He said.
"If she does anything let me know, I'm here for you whenever you need me." He said.
I smiled.
"Thank you, Zach." I said.
"Anything for you, beautiful." He said.
A blush creeped onto my cheeks causing them to turn light, reddish pink. I turned away from him, not wanting him to see that he still has that effect on me. Where whenever he would say something sweet like that, I would just start blushing like crazy and absolutely melt on the inside.
"I still don't get how you can look so amazing all the time." He said with a slight chuckle.
I looked over at him, even though I knew my cheeks had gotten redder from his comment.
"You're still corny as ever." I joked.
"I don't think I'll ever not be corny." He played along.
"I think you would be less fun to be around if you weren't so corny." I said chuckling lightly.
"You're probably right, but I'm sure you would still fall for me either way." He said winking.
I laughed.
"You know, you're probably right." I said.
"So I heard that the guys and you are going to be in London on Saturday then gonna travel around Europe a bit." I said.
"Yeah, I'm really excited to see some of the international fans." He said smiling widely.
"I'm really proud of you, Zach. I hope you know that." I said.
"Of course I know that, you've been supporting me since before I even knew you and you started supporting the guys and me even more once we started dating." He said.
"Even after we broke up you didn't stop supporting us." He added.
"I would never stop supporting you guys, you are all the best thing that has happened to me." I said.
"You're the best thing that's ever happened to us, and to me, too." He said smiling.
I smiled back.
"So how's school been?" He asked.
"Pretty good I guess." I said with a shrug.
"By the way, I'm grateful you were all safe in Vegas." I said.
"I literally woke up at four am then went on my phone and found out about it." I continued.
"I was freaking out and hoping that nothing bad would happen to you guys." I added.
He sighed.
"It was a pretty terrifying experience, but we were lucky," he said, but then paused.
"I feel bad for all the innocent people who were killed, they didn't deserve that, nobody does." He finished.
I nodded.
"I know, it makes me sad when stuff like this happens." I said frowning.
Zach cleared his throat.
"Anyways, I should probably headed back to Jack and my room." Zach said stretching.
"Isn't Kendra here by now?" I asked.
"Oh yeah, uh do you mind if I just stay here then?" He asked.
I shook my head.
"I don't mind at all." I said.
"Thank you, Janina." He said.
"Anything for you, Zach." I said.
Author's note:
I was writing this about three hours ago, but then ended up leaving to go spend time with friends at a corn maze so here's this chapter rn :)Just in case anyone is confused about this chapter, the last chapter where Zach and Janina were on the rooftop was just a dream Janina had. Just thought I'd clear that up so no one would be confused.
Also is anyone going to the boys Maryland show because I'll be there :)
Anyways I'm exhausted so I'm going to sleep. Goodnight.
Ps. I don't have school Monday so I might post a chapter then ;)
