"Ainsley?" An accented voice says "Ainsley?" It repeats. "Wake up Ainsley."
I open my eyes to a silhouette figure holding a door open for me. Where am I? Once my eyes adjust to the darkness and my brain catches up to speed, I see that Harry is the one waiting for me.
"Oh, sorry." I say. My brain starts putting the pieces together of all that has happened tonight. I can already feel the tears streaming down my face, knowing that I can't return home to my mother anymore.
"Ainsley, come here. Don't cry," Harry says with his arms open.
I step out of the car and let Harry's arms embrace me. We stand there for a good ten minutes, me crying into his chest and him hugging me, protecting me, trying to fight off the demons slipping into my head.
"Harry?" Louis calls interrupting the moment, "have you woken Ains-" he stops mid-sentence spotting us.
"Let's go inside," Harry suggests.
I nod in response to him. I don't want to talk, because if I do, I know I will break down.
We walk inside the mansion that the boys are living in and Harry sits me down on the couch.
"I'll be right back," he explains.
Again, I nod to his words. I don't even know what to think. I should be feeling joy and excitement to have even stepped foot in this house, but I should feel grief and sorrow over my mother's, my mothers passing. I just feel numb.
Josie walks in and sits on the leather couch, closing the space between us. "Hey," she says softly.
"Hi," I answer quietly.
Another tear drops onto my cheek, and Josie wipes it away.
I look up at her, she's so loving and caring. She's nothing like the tabloids make her out to be, a rude gold-digger. I've always known that she's not like that at all, she took on a big task of being the girlfriend of Louis Tomlinson, and here she sits, wiping away my tears. She's truly amazing.
"Would you like to watch a film?" She asks.
"Only if you think it will help," I say.
She walks over to a cabinet and opens it, displaying at least two hundred movies.
"Want to watch the Hunger Games?" She asks looking at me for approval, "this movie always gets my mind off of things, we can even watch Catching Fire after." She adds.
"Sure." I answer, forcing myself to give her a hint of a smile.
"I'm back, sorry I was making hot coco, would you like to watch a movie?" Harry says before he notices Josie. "Oh! Well looks like you guys are on it already, I'll go make one more cup of hot coco." Harry says flashing us both a smile then leaving the room.
Josie claps and the lights turn off, surrounding us in the darkness, the only light provided by the flat screen in front of us. I'm quickly covered by a blanket and the movie starts to play.
Two minutes into the movie, Harry slides down next to us, handing me the warm chocolate drink.
"Here," he says.
I thank him and turn my attention back to the movie. By the time the movie was over, I noticed that all of the boys and Mairead were sitting on the couch with us. Wow, I guess it really is a good distraction.
"Time for Catching Fire!" Liam exclaims like a little girl who's about to get a Barbie dream house. He runs over and turns the second movie on, then sprints back to the couch. The movie starts, and I cuddle up between Harry and Josie. I feel my eyes start to close and sleep over taking my senses.
