Layla and I were dressed again and cleaning up the mess we'd made around the table.

It was actually pretty funny; it looked like a fucking tornado went through the place, and it was all because of how we couldn't control ourselves around each other.

I swept the broken glass from the beer bottles as Layla mopped up the marinara sauce. Our eyes met and we busted out laughing. Luckily nothing of her parents' was busted; the plates were plastic, as if they knew their daughter and I would be fucking on their dining room table and need to clear it in a hurry.

When everything was back in order, we went out and started a fire in the pit. I got to show off my pyrotechnic skills I had honed back in my childhood. She sat and laughed at me as I got a really intense fire going.

"How are you still alive?" she giggled. "You were doing shit like this when you were how old?"

I shrugged. "Nine? Ten? I don't know." It was a miracle I had survived all the stupid shit I did under little to no supervision.

I sat down in a chair next to her and pulled a joint out of my pocket. I hadn't smoked around her before; only with my brothers.

"Is that...weed?" she asked, her eyes wide.

I nodded. "Does that bother you? I don't have to smoke it."

She shook her head. "No, but what about the police academy? Don't you think they'd drug test you?"

I shook my head. "My medical exam is in a little over two weeks. It'll be out of my system by then. This is basically my last chance," I half laughed.

She nodded, watching me light it and take the first hit. She looked intrigued.

I exhaled. "Do you want to hit it?"

She nodded, reaching for the joint. She put it to her lips and inhaled before coughing out the smoke.

I smiled. "You've never smoked before, have you?"

She passed it back to me, trying to clear her throat. "No, I haven't."

I took a big hit off of it and exhaled. "Shit, I've corrupted you."

She laughed as she took the joint. "You have in so many wonderful ways," she joked as she put it to her lips to try again.

"Hey, that was better!" I smiled when she exhaled without coughing and sputtering.

"Let's play a game," she said with a grin as she passed the joint back to me.

I laughed before taking a hit. "Oh yeah? Like what?"

She watched with wide eyes as I blew a few smoke rings. "How about 20 Questions?"

I laughed at the tail end of exhaling. "You and your games," I smirked, passing it back to her.

She rolled her eyes and took a drag. "Okay so I'll ask one first. What actor would play me in a movie?"

I laughed as she handed the joint back to me. "Uh...is this a trick question?" I took a long drag and held the joint for a minute; she'd taken a few hits in relatively quick succession, and I was a little paranoid about how she'd handle it.

"No," she laughed. "Why?"

"Well if I tell you an actress who resembles you, it's obviously going to mean I think she's hot," I smirked. "I don't want you getting all jealous."

She started to giggle uncontrollably, and I laughed at how funny she sounded. When she took a minute to breathe, she looked at me. "Maybe I'm high right now, but you are making no sense."
