Chapter Nine: Jestro Has Hair??!

Narration!!

Jestro was chilling in his rolling headquarters when his cloud friend came up to him. He stared at him for a while, taking Jestro's focus off his phone. "Okay, why are you staring at me like that? You're really starting to freak me out." Monstrox kept his eyes on Jestro's very floppy and colourful hat.

"Just was wondering..." Jestro raised an eyebrow. "Why are you always wearing that hat? Why don't you ever take it off?"

A slightly pinkish colour tinted Jestro's face. He pulled his hat on his head tighter. "W-well! Um, I just don't.." "You don't what?" "I-I just prefer it on. Is that a problem?" He crossed his arms and turned away. Monstrox continued hovering above Jestro, staring down at him. "Well, what does your hair even look like? Can't look THAT bad."

"Aack! No, d-don't do that!" Jestro yelped as he jumped up from his seat, backing up against the wall as Monstrox moved closer to him. "Hehehehe~ What's the problem, joke-boy? Don't wanna take your HAT off?" The creepy tone of Monstrox's voice scared the heck out of Jestro.

"No! No no no no! You can't make me!!!" He screamed as he bolted out the door. But some monsters met him as he was attempting to escape Monstrox. He stopped dead in his tracks and backed up only to back into Monstrox. "Where'd ya think you're going, Jestro?~" Jestro sweated nervously and backed into the wall again.

He held onto his hat and screamed, "THIS IS MY PRIVATE PROPERTY! IT'S MY SECRET FOR ME TO KNOW AND YOU TO NEVER FIND OUT!!" And he ran under Monstrox, straight out the door. "Oh no you don't! Monsters, get after that kooky clown, NOW!!!" Jestro ran into the forest for about three minutes until Monstrox caught up to him. "JESTRO, GET YOUR CLOWN BUTT BACK HERE RIGHT NOW!" "NOOO! STAY AWAY FROM ME, MONSTROX!! PLEASE JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!!"

Then Jestro accidentally tripped over a root of a tree and landed flat on his face. He scrambled to his feet but Monstrox was already above him. "Move an inch and I'll zap you. Now take off your stupid hat already and let's get this over with." Monstrox growled as Jestro slid up against a tree.

"Monstrox...I just don't want to." "Take it off." "No." "Take it OFF NOW." "I don't want to!" "I don't care. Take it off or I'll make a monster pry it off your bloody head." "No!!" "Have it your way. I didn't want to have to do this but..." He lunged onto Jestro's head, attaching to his head and tried yanking it off.

"OH MY GOD, MONSTROX! GET OFF OF MY FRICKING HEAD!!! THIS IS SO WRONG!!" Jestro shrieked flailing his arms around at Monstrox.

"DO YOU GLUE THIS THING TO YOUR HEAD OR SOMETHING?!" "STOP IT!! STOP IT, STOP IT, JUST STOP IT PLEASE!!" Jestro screamed, covering his eyes. Then Monstrox finally pulled the hat off his head.

He backed up slowly at what he saw. Turns out Jestro has messy, black hair. Jestro groaned and covered his face. "I told you it was bad." Monstrox really didn't know what to think at this point. The only thing coming to him was......he kinda looked cute. "Uhhhh....it's not...SO bad...a-actually it matches you.."

Jestro's face once again turned a bright pink as he looked up at him. "Really? Or are you just teasing me again?" "No, it's a good look on you." Jestro got up, picked up his hat and tucked it under his arm. "Oh...th-thanks."

As they were going back for the headquarters, Monstrox decided to spark another conversation. "I told you so." Jestro narrowed his eyes. "What?" "I told you that you needed to get rid of the crazy hat." "Whatever..."

"Maybe now you can lose the jester outfit." "Don't push it, cloud-brains."
