Hey-o guys! So, over the past few days, I've been thinking on my personal favourite Lego show, and my mind palace came to a very interesting thought.
Oh and sorry to the ones that have headcanons about Clay Moorington's dad being Sir Griffiths because this theory of mine TOTALLY SMASHES it!
So, my theory has brought me to think that I'm at least 90% sure that Clay's dad is none other than...!

Oh yeah, it's ya boi, Monstrox! My personal favourite character instead of Jestro.
But mostly, hated by a good 80% of the fandom. (Don't know why.)
You probably are thinking, "Ha! That's stupid. How could you think that? We have never even seen what Monstrox looks like, except for an ugly cloud or a crusty looking book!"
Just bear with me, keep reading.
I'm not just saying this because I like Monstrox's character but I actually have some good evidence that could be true!
1st part:
Has anyone else seen season four or just little bits and pieces of it due to spoilers? (THOSE DANG SPOILERS.) If you saw those pictures of Ruina Stoneheart inside Clay's head, you might recall a shadowy figure standing beside Ruina.
Who is it? But it could be anything so....not much to talk about here.

Explain how Monstrox knows Clay's last name. Then again, General Magmar knows it too, makes sense seeing as how he's his right-hand man. But still, what else would explain that? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
And my final point so far:

Why else would he act the way he did when he zapped Ruina, most likely knowing she is Clay's mother? I mean, maybe he's a ladies man or something but explain this! And seeing as how she the literal only female wizard we know of in the Wizard's Council, being there with Monstrox, it'd only make sense.
Well, those are my theories! And don't take them too far, they're JUST theories! Like I said, we still haven't got any canon facts about that but it still could happen. Even if it's Sir Bricklin or Monstrox, it's nothing to get your pretty hair messed up over. But just consider these little facts and think about it.
COULD Monstrox be Clay's father??
I promise I'll make an actual chapter tomorrow night, tonight I was just developing this theory with my little brother and I really lost track of time inbetween doing homework and that. But I'll give a little hint to what it is I'm doing tomorrow: *whispers really loudly* IT'S CLAYTRO.
