Chapter 4: Hannah's POV

I walk into my house still blushing. I couldn't stop smiling like an idiot and I had to run in my room before my Mom recognized my face. This happened when I had my first kiss around tenth grade. So I needed my own place if I didn't want my Mom seeing me like this every time I got back from spending time with the Key bros. I immediately take out my phone after I closed and locked my door. I was practically panting. I text Josie first and ask "Are you practically out of breath right now?" I ask her. I see her typing and she replies: "OMG! Yes, did we just exchange numbers with them? I am so awestruck!" I smile and can't stop when all the sudden one of my notifications goes off for Instagram. I clicked on it without reading and it switched my screen to Instagram. The notification read: @collinskey is following you. I gasped. Collins followed me? A second before I started to text Josie another notification popped up and it read: @devankey is following you. I completely freaked out. I freaked out so much that I let out a fangirl squeal without caring. I can't believe it!!! I texted Josie: "Did Collins and Deven just follow your Insta?" I ask. "Uh, yeah! I am going crazy!" She replies almost instantly. Then all of the sudden I get a text from Collins. "Hey you know how Devan was saying we should get together sometime? I was thinking that you, Josie, Devan, and I could go to Chili's around 6 or so for dinner tomorrow?" I beam so much I thought I might pass out. I calmed myself and played cool. "Yeah, sounds great we'll see you there!" I text back. I was gonna lose my head if my brother hadn't knocked in my door and scare the crap out of me. "Hannah?" He calls out through the door. "What?!" I say, upset he ruined my happy mood. "It's time for dinner. Mom said you were supposed to make meatball subs tonight?" He said. Just the word dinner made me go crazy on the inside. I turn back to my happy mood. "Okay, I'll be down in a minute!" I say happily. This feeling was gonna stick to me for hours.

The rest of the day was so joyful, I couldn't even contain it even while I was cooking, but I had to keep it a secret. I beamed as I gave Tyler some meatballs. "Hannah, why are you so happy? Are you sick?" Tyler asked, concerned. "No, I just um love meatball subs!" I said still smiling. Tyler just shrugged and said, "Ok then."

After dinner I decided to text Josie about what was up, if she didn't get the memo. "Hey Josie, Collins just texted me and he invited both of us to Chilis at 6 tomorrow! You available?" I texted. She responded rather quickly, "Of course I'm available!!" "Great! See you there!" I responded. After I was done texting Josie, I realized how late it was, and that I should get some rest for the big date tomorrow.

Later that night, I couldn't sleep until at least one or two in the morning. I stayed up though texting Josie. Josie fell asleep texting at least around 1. After she fell asleep I scrolled through Collins' and Devan's Insta profiles like a creep. They were gorgeous. Sometime around two looking at SnapChat a bit and later the Key bros' Twitter accounts I fell asleep. My dreams turned to Chili's and it was more of a nightmare. Josie and I waited for them to come for hours but figured out it was just some trick. I woke up, horrified at the idea that that could be a possibility. "Out of all the girls in the world that they've met..why us?" I think out loudly to myself. It was six o'clock by then. I ponder on "why us?" for a while then find myself too tired to think. As I rolled over in my bed I saw my screen light up and at least a hundred notifications on my screen most from Insta and others from my friends in Ohio finally texting me back. I click on Insta to see that Collins has liked most of my photos. Devan had only followed me and liked one picture. "Devan must not check Insta a lot." I thought to myself. But deep down I knew somewhere that I was only lying to myself.

I wake up to blazing sun again and jump out of bed in a hurry. Got dressed in something cute but not too casual. I went down to breakfast and ate as much as I wanted to fill the time. Then I figured out some things that filled my time before dinner. Reading, texting Josie continuously about how I had my dream, or how I was afraid I would screw something up if this wasn't some kind of trick. Then I ate lunch a bit lighter than usual so I was hungry for dinner. I went to a garden place not too far from my family's apartment and roamed around, looking at all the beauty that surrounded me. The mist that they always had spraying for the plants made it seem like I was in some kind of rain forest. I waited and waited for 5:50 to come around so I could leave for dinner. 5:50 did come and I left with butterflies in my stomach until I saw Josie's face. She was already sitting at a table with Devan and Collins. I took a deep breath and walked towards the table.
