A Devan/Collins Key Fanfiction

Chapter 11-Hannah's POV

Collins walked me back to the parking lot, his hand in mine. As we stopped by my car he paused:

"I had fun tonight Hannah...and now I just thought to myself...what are we now?" I looked down at our hands, connected.

I look back up at him and reply: "I don't know......you decide." He looks up as if trying to think.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asks.

"Let me think about it..yes!!" I exclaim. And I didn't regret it. And for the first time in my life, I had a real kiss that was not just from him, but I was kissing back. We released after several seconds and just hugged.

"I'll see you tomorrow?" He asks, looking into my eyes. His big, round, beautiful, blue eyes were genuine.

"Of course I will." I reply. We slowly walk away from each other and our eyes have to stop staring into each others so we could drive.

And from there, I thought my life would always go perfect with no accidents, and no further drama with who loves who. But, that wasn't always the case as I soon figured out.

I get home and close the door so I can fangirl squeal. "Are my dreams coming true? I'm actually DATING one of the Key bros!" I think to myself so no one else hears. I get a cardboard box from downstairs and start packing my bags into one box. It hasn't been a month yet, but close enough!

I pack my shoes, except for the pair I'll wear to Tito's and all of my clothes. Except for the ones for Tito's.

Just then, Mom walks into my room like it's hers.

"Uh, what are you doing?" She asked. She looked tired from working. Tyler was behind Mom gripping her arm.

"Packing, duh. I'm ready to leave now." I explain. I continue packing.

"Who's Collins?" Mom asked. She had my phone in her hand when I turned around.

"My boyfriend." I say simply, talking my phone from her hand.

"Have I met him?" She asked.

"No, you will soon though. I mean, I just started dating him. But, if I do bring him over to meet you, you're going to be nice to him. Because he's my one and only right now. And I don't want him breaking up with me at the very beginning because of my psycho Mom! And unlike you, I'm gonna stay with a man that my future kids will like!" I shout.

"What does that even mean? Do you not like Murry?" She asks, as if offended.

"Maybe I would if he even loved me or Tyler!" I shouted. Tyler ran out of the room and slammed his bedroom door behind him.

"Okay, okay. I see. I won't be rude to your boyfriend. But let me tell you something. Once you get moved in and we've been here for more than 4 months, we'll go visit dad."

"And I promise that I'll try to be more knowing about your feelings and start being there for you. Now pack your clothes and look for an apartment to stay, and get a decent job." Mom added. I smiled, and hugged her. "Now I'm going to go talk to Tyler. Because you know that Murry doesn't hate you and he does love you. He's just very busy and hasn't been able to show it. We'll make a family vacation and you'll see how much he does care about you." And with that she walks out and I continue packing.

I quickly look at the text from Collins in the middle of packing my nightstand objects. It read: "I'll pick you up tomorrow, so don't worry about gas money. <3!" I smile immediately and reply: "Thanks bby! C you there!" Everything was perfect.

The next morning I get up, eat, and get dressed. I sit on my bed and take out my makeup kit. I apply some makeup and straighten my hair. I add jewelry, and went downstairs to tell Mom I was going to Tito's with Collins. She looks up from her bills, smiles and highs me. "Have fun!" She said.

I wait on the bench outside our family apartment for a bit before it's time to leave. I turn on some music on my phone and put in earbuds, so I could listen to my favorite songs. "Today is a good day." I thought to myself. I text Collins and said: "When will you be leaving to pick me up?" Collins doesn't reply so I just wait a while. My phone vibrates a few minutes later and I see a notification. But it wasn't from Collins...it was from Devan. It read: "Hurry to the busy street not far from your house! Collins is hurt bad!"

I get in my car as fast as I can and don't even wear my seatbelt. I drive over to the busy street known as: Alameda Street and park on the side of the road as soon as I see the Key bros car wrecked with another car in the middle of the street. The other two streets were blocked off so I had to get out of my car to run to the accident. Josie and Devan were there and Collins was just put in the ambulance according to Devan. We don't know what happened but all we knew is we had to get to the hospital.

We got into Josie's car and followed the ambulance to the hospital. "Why so dressed up?" Josie asked me.
