Chapter 8- The Video

Aiden's Pov
When we got home we started to practice on the dance with the music. We practiced until it was 5 and then we went up stairs to eat I went to the kitchen to start dinner. Jezebel went to the living room and put on a show to watch until dinner was ready. Today is Friday so tomorrow we get to do whatever we want. While I was making dinner I looked at Jezebel cause she was laughing.. Like. Actually laughing. I smiled and hissed in pain when I burnt myself I looked back and groaned. Then I felt tiny hands grab mine I looked and saw Jezebel frowning while looking at my hand she got the first aid kit and Neosporin and rubbed it on my burn.

"You ok?"

"Yea it's just a burn. So would you like eggs, bacon, toast, and sausage links?" I asked and she smiled and nodded I set the food onto a plate for me and her. "I want some orange juice. Oh and can you get the syrup?" She asked and I said yea dragging out the a looking at her weirdly she laughed and when I gave it to her she put it on her sausage links and I gasped and she smiled at me and ate it! She freakin ate it!

"What the heck is wrong with you!" I yelled and she laughed and I internally smiled when she did. I need to get her out of my mind she is driving me nuts and it scares me because I'm not the most good person in the world she is innocent. She told me that it was good and I rolled my eyes and we started to eat and talk about random things. Then all of a sudden I got a call from dad I excused myself and answered.

"Hey dad. Is something wrong?" I asked looking around my home.

"Listen I need you to come home now" he said and my eyebrows furrowed together and I nodded to myself because dad hasn't really been this stern with me in a long time.

"Ok I'll be there in a few. Bye" I said and I heard him say bye back and then I hung up and went back into the kitchen to find Jezebel washing the dishes when she was done she turned around and tilted her head to the side questioning me with her eyes. I sighed and told her we needed to go to my parents house. She nodded and we went off. Soon we were there and when we walked in we were greeted by my family.

"Aiden!" They all yelled hugging me even Commander and Echo Jezebel stood to the side watching us and they all looked at her and made her come into the hug.

"Aiden! I missed you! Landon tried to be like you and make me feel better but even if you have the same faces it wasn't the same!" Maya yelled, Landon scoffed and I laughed and picked her up. Dalton went to Jezebel and raised his hands up motioning for her to pick him up she smiled and did so. Them dad and mom came.

"Aiden come with me" dad said I nodded and sat Maya down and told Jezebel to follow she put Dalton down and did. Mom looked a little... I don't know she looked uneasy of something.. Hm. When we made it to his office dad sat on his chair with mom on his lap while me and Jezebel sat in the chairs in front of his desk. He cleared his throat and mom put her hand on his shoulder and he nodded.

"We think your grandma might be alive.." He said my eyes widened is he talking about mom's mom? Julia? But wasn't she kidnapped and killed?

"But that's impossible wasn't she-" "kidnapped? Yes. But I always thought they killed my mother it seems like they didn't kill her though and why? Because when me and your father were talking about it we got mail and the mail was a picture of my mom. It was new picture too, she's still very much alive they also left a video and my mom was in it. Carter still hasn't figured out who sent it" I was shocked my grandma is still alive after 16 years of my life but mom she hasn't seen her in a long time she must feel overwhelmed..

"Well. What are we going to do about it? We don't just leave family behind. There must be someway to get her back" I said and dad nodded while smiling and I looked at him slightly confused.

"Spoke like a true leader. And we will get her back but.. The problem is we don't know where she is and let's let you watch the video and we will show you the other problem" dad said getting up setting mom into his chair while going to the movie player and slipping a disc in that's when I saw a women about the age of 50 on the tv that must be my grandma..

Third person POV
"So who are you? Why are you here?" The anonymous voice recording ask while Julia looks confused at why she is being recorded and why he is asking such foolish questions like it's obvious.

"My name is Julia, and I'm here because I work for you" she said and Aiden and Jezebel looked shell shocked while Carter looked stern and Bella still looked sad and shocked. The anonymous voice laughed while Julia sat and looked confused.

"Do you know this family?" The anonymous guy asked reaching his arm out that was covered in a long black t-shirt and a black glove. Julia study the picture and shook her head and he showed her one last one and shook her head no. The guy laughed and showed the pictures to the camera it was a picture Julia had taken when Bella was young with her father and brother. Then it was a family picture of Carter and her family.

Shockingly the video didn't stop there.. No. Julia still looked confused the guy laughed and laughed until he stopped and Julia arched an eyebrow at him. She was looking up at the guy and she smiled wickedly which sent shivers down Bella's spine. Never once in Bella's life has she saw her mother so evil. Julia soon waved and said goodbye and it went off and the word Bella seemed to say was...

"Amnesia.."
