Chapter 7 Jaynaria
The cottage was before me.
I took a deep breath.
I open the door and walked in.
I gasped in surprise. The cottage seemed to sparkle and glow gold.
I saw a gorgeous cake on our table, the icing was beautifully done, like for royalty! I couldn't believe my eyes! I knew Mother was a great cook, I just didn't realize she was that good!
I hurried over to my room and found the most gorgeous gown ever. It was a rich blue gown with gold embroidery.
I remembered the festival the village was throwing for me tonight. The cake was probably for then. A knock came on my bedroom foot.
"Can I come in sweetie?" Mother called.
I opened the door and gave Mother the biggest hug ever.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you! I love you so much Mother!"
She smiled at me. "Let's get you dressed."
She went over to my dresser and pulled out a circlet. Then earrings, a necklace and cosmetics. My eyes widen. Mother refused to let me wear cosmetics! This was really a big deal then! Mother turned back to me.
"Let's make you presentable for your birthday festival, shall we?
