Chapter 11: No Regrets

Your POV
I can't sleep for some reason. Probably it was because of what happened with Near or because of what I saw in that empty room.
* Flash Back *
I touched the paper I saw with my brothers sloppy handwriting , and my vision suddenly became red. 'What is happening? Why am I seeing everything red?' I then heard a laugh in my head but the voice then spoke "Unlike your brother, your ability came to you at this age."  'What? What do you mean by ability?' After a few seconds I heard footsteps echoing through the halls. I got out and stood in the middle with my back facing the person. "Y/n?" I immediately recognized that voice. 'Near? Oh no what do I do?' I didn't respond. He started coming closer until I turned around with wide eyes still startled about what was happening. I looked at him and noticed there was something floating on top of his head.
'Nate River , 43406' I couldn't stop staring at the letters and numbers floating on top of his head. Until I felt cold lips on mine. My eyes widened even more and I got tense but relaxed really quickly just before he pulled away.
*End Of Flash Back*
I eventually fell asleep really late and dreamt about my brother
Time Skip
"Y/n! Wake up!" I groaned in response and covered my head with a pillow. "Get up you have to eat breakfast!" she said as she pushed me off the bed. I landed hard on my back. "ouch" " That's what you get for not listening to your big sis." "You're only older than me by one minute." "But I'm still older" "one minute" "older" "you don't act like it." "Whatever just get up."s/n said laughing at the sight of me lazily getting up. 'It seems like I'm not seeing everything red like yesterday' I was walking with my sister until we walked in and went our separate ways. I got breakfast and sat down and noticed Near wasn't there. "Are you looking for Near?" asked Matt. "Yes" "Well, as far as I know he isn't here yet" he said. "Yea, wait a minute, neither has e/n" Mello said. "Oh no"I mumbled as I got up and ran out the door. I ran straight to Nears room and heard shuffling inside. Something told me that e/n was doing something to him. I tried opening the door but it was locked. So I pick locked it instead of kicking it down and getting in trouble. I opened the door and my eyes widened seeing Near on the bed being pinned down by e/n. She had his arms above his head as she tried kissing him but he kept his emotionless face and kept moving his face away from hers until e/n finally caught him but he still didn't let her enter his mouth. "DAMN IT ! YOU LEAVE ME NO CHOICE THEN" she said as her hand went down to his , um, 'wiener'. She put her hand there " HOW COME YOU AREN'T HARD FOR ME!" and I got so mad I ran and kicked her off of him. She fell to the floor and I looked back at Near to see his eyes widen and his legs crossed. I helped him up but I immediately received a punch to the face. 'She's better than Mello.' "UGH YOU RUIN EVERYTHING!" she came running towards me aiming for my face. Her fist were coming straight to my face until I caught her fist. Her eyes widened and I smirked evilly as my grip tightened around her fist hearing her knuckles crack. "AAAAAH!" As soon as I heard it , with my hand still holding her fist, I wrapped my arm around her neck and I pulled her down to the floor making a really loud sound. "OW OW OW OW OW!" I looked up and walked to Near. " Are you okay? Did she hurt you?" I asked in a monotone voice. "I am fine but you have a bruise on your face." I just nodded and stared at him as he stared at me. We both looked behind me because we heard e/n getting up from the floor. " Why do you ruin everything?! You don't belong here! You don't have a reason to exist! No wonder your sister is dating Matt just to get away from you! JUST MAKE THE WORLD A FAVOR AND GO DIE!" she yelled and left his room crying. I looked down at my watch 'I need my brother with me. BB , where are you?' I heard someone else enter the room and it was Mello, Matt , and S/n. "*gasp* Y/n WHAT DID YOU DO TO E/N?!" I stayed silent the whole time. " She came here to help me and did that to e/n for self defense." "She didn't ask you Near!" Mello yelled to Near. "leave me alone , she deserved it , why am I here?"I mumbled to myself. "ARE YOU INSANE Y/A?!" s/a told me. " I will make the world a favor. Besides, I lost my parents and brother. And now , I'm slowly loosing my sister too." I said. But s/n grabbed my wrist and dragged me out of the room. Once we were in our room "What happened y/n?" "I went to Nears room and found e/n doing something perverted to him so I got her off him and then she punched me in the face leaving this bruise and I attacked back as self defense." "It's okay just don't do it again. " she said hugging me. " You still have to eat though. So come on. "
I followed her to go eat. I sat down next to Near and stayed silent eating my food. I was minding my own business but heard e/n telling her friends what happened between us. "*sniff* all I wanted to do was express my feelings for him but that bit** had to ruin it like always." "She probably did that because she has never experienced love." "Yea and probably never will. " " I hate her" "me too"
Hearing this honestly didn't affect me since I have already experienced it. I noticed through the corner of my eye , Near glaring at them while twirling his hair playing with a robot. I got up to leave but heard footsteps behind me. 'This isn't going to end nice for me.'  I knew they were e/n and her minions, I mean, friends. I picked up the pace and so did they until one of them made me trip. I fell and e/n's two other friends picked me up and slammed me to the wall. One of her friends was kicking in the stomach until "ouch!" I then saw a dart fall to the ground. "Let her go." I peeked and saw Near with a bunch of darts in one hand while he twirled his hand in the other. " Near what are you doing here?" e/n asked innocently. "I'm here for my friend." "I won't let her go, not after what she did to me by breaking our make out session." "I never agreed or wanted to do it in the first place." "But you love me." "I don't" "W-what? *turns to look at me then at him* it's because of her isn't it?! What if I act like her? Then will you love me?!"  "It still won't work, she has been there for me and has respected my privacy unlike you." "F-fine. BUT YOU WILL LOVE ME!" She again ran away crying while her friends slammed me to the ground and ran after her.

        Near POV
    I ran over to y/n and saw that she was laying there on the floor in pain. "I'm going to pick you up okay?" she nodded in response. I carried her bridal style easily since she was really lighter than e/n. On our way I noticed she fell asleep in my arms. I struggled but managed to open the door and laid her on my bed and tucked her in the covers. I couldn't help but stare at her beautiful innocent sleeping face. 'I sound like a pervert.' I left to get supplies and when I came back she was awake staring out the window. She turned around and saw me carrying supplies to treat her wounds. I sat on the bed "where?" I asked. She blushed slightly and pointed at her stomach and side. I also blushed a little bit and sighed " take it off." She looked down embarrassed but slowly started taking her shirt off. Fortunately she's wearing something underneath. "This is just like that day you took care of me." I said trying to break the awkward silence. "It is". I couldn't help but admire her body. ' I really have to stop sounding like a pervert.' Her wounds weren't as bad as mine  so we finished rather quickly.
"Do you remember that lego set we never finished?"I asked "Yes, you said no when e/n asked if she could build it with you." " The reason to my response is because I wanted to build it only with you. Can we start over?" "Yes"
