Chapter 6: I Am Not A Robot

           
Your POV in the morning
   
        I woke up to the unpleasant feeling of getting slapped in the face by my twin. 'She has her own bed' I thought. I looked over at the clock to check what time it was. Just in time I said getting a sleeping s/n off of me and getting dressed with something comfy. We both walked to our destination and finally went our own ways. I got food and sat next to Near who was playing with robots. In my opinion it was really cute to see his childish side. On the other hand I was just playing with my knife. We all stayed quiet while Mello kept glaring at me with hatred. Mello grabbed one of Nears robots while he just kept staring not saying anything. "Why are you a robot? You have no feelings like that freaky albino machine sitting right next to you." 'I swear he is getting on my last nerve. Did he seriously not learn his lesson?' I thought. "I am not a robot. You're vulnerable. You've been hanging with the unloved kids who you never really liked and you never trusted. But you are so magnetic , you pick up all the pins. Don't be so pathetic. I'm vulnerable, I am not a robot." He was really mad and broke the head off the robot. Watari came in and said " Y/a please come with me , i need to speak with you." I got up throwing my trash away and walked out following Watari to his office in silence. We got in and I sat on a seat in front of him. " Why did you kick Mello?" "Because he was hurting Near and I couldn't just stand there and do nothing while he gets hurt deeply." "That's not what I heard from Mello and Matt" "What did they tell you?" "That Mello was begging you to stop but you just kept kicking him." "That's a lie." I said calmly "I trust what Near says and if he says that you are not lying then you will only have to be in your room with no contact with anyone for two weeks but if he says that it's a lie then you will have to face a lot of consequences." "Understood" Near cane in through the door and sat on the seat next to me. "Near is it true that Mello was begging for her to stop?" "No, he kept fighting against her so she had to kick him for self-defense." "Is it true that she was defending you because you were getting hurt by Mello?" " Yes in fact she disinfected and helped all the wounds I had." "Okay, y/a you are going to have no contact with anyone around the orphanage except your sister and Near. He will bring you food and other things you may need , is that alright with you Near?" "Yes" " Very well then , you may leave". We both got up and left at the same time. On our way down the hallway, we saw Mello and Matt walking to Roger's office. Do I feel bad? No. "Do you want to got to my room?" Near asked. I simply nodded and we were on our way to his room , getting stares by everyone else. Do I care? No.
         We entered his room which was clean and had toys all over his white plain room just like the first time I was in here. "You can play with anything you choose." "Okay" I walked over to some finger puppets he had. I noticed that it was mostly everyone around the orphanage but then I noticed he had a puppet replica of me. I picked it up and stared at it. "How did you make these?" " I have my ways." He replied. I slightly smiled and  got the puppet of himself and the others then I got a lot of dice he had and began making a little city. I could tell he was staring at me. After I was finished I began to make a big castle out of cards. I heard shuffling from behind me " I'm impressed" he said. "Thank you" I said. After a few minutes I looked at the time and noticed it was past curfew so all the lights were out. "I suppose you will be staying in here with me." "mhm" 'looks like this is going to be the first time I stay over with a guy' I thought. "You can sleep on my bed, I can't sleep." He said. I nodded and started picking up the mess I left and went to his bed laying down under the covers getting comfortable. I closed my eyes and fell into deep slumber.
