Chapter 15: Camping gone wrong

Near POV

I saw a person hiding behind the tree. I whispered to y/n "We need to go the other way." she nodded and we slowly walked away still cautious. Fortunately, we got back to the others. We both walked up to Watari and y/n said "Watari, someone else is here besides us." "Are you sure about that? Maybe that person is just here to camp as well or they probably came here for it's beautiful nature." "Sir this person was hiding behind a tree." Watari was about to speak until e/m came "Maybe they're just crazy or tired." "Well it is late but we will keep a look out.*turns to everyone* Go back to your tents!" "Can we sleep wherever we want?" asked s/a. Everyone else started agreeing and begging. "Fine , but only for today." After a few minutes , s/a walked up to y/n. "Hey um y/a, Matt will sleep in our tent I'm sorry I forgot to tell you. Is it fine?" Y/n nodded. S/a hugs her "THANK YOU! YOU ARE THE BEST LITTLE SISTER!" "I'm only younger by one minute." "Whatever" s/a left. She sighed "You can stay in my tent if you want to." I suggest. She turned to me "Really?" "Yes" "Thank you" she left to inform her sister.

Your POV
He's so nice to let me stay with him. I couldn't ask for a better friend. I went to my tent and opened it to find s/n on top of Matt french kissing him 'Thank goodness Near suggested that option.'
*ahem* they both broke apart "huh? Oh y/a! Erm, do you need something?!" she nervously said. I kept my straight face "I'm going to stay with Near, you two can stay here and do... what you were doing." They both blushed and looked away but s/n didn't for long. "Have fun tonight y/a, but remember , not too much fun." I glared at her "Clearly given what I just witnessed, you are no one to tell me that." They both blushed even more and finally became quiet. I left and headed to Nears tent. I unzipped it and saw him sitting on the floor completing a puzzle quickly. "Do you want to complete another one with me?" he asked, eyes focused on the puzzle. "Yes." right after I said that he completed the puzzle. He got another 1000 piece puzzle behind him and put it between us.

Near POV

I dumped the puzzle on the ground and we both started. We continued until we both grabbed the last one. I looked up at her and so did she. We both then completed the puzzle together using the same one. We put it away and stared at each other in awkward silence. Something seemed to caught my attention as I saw she had a leaf on her hair. I moved my hand that was on top of my knee moving it to her hair. She stared at my hand then to my eyes. I removed it and took out a notebook from inside my shirt(it ain't the death note). I ripped two pages out and gave one to her and also a pencil. "Do you store everything inside your shirt." she asked. "Sometimes." We drew for a few minutes. "I'm done" she said. "May I see?" she handed the sheet of paper to me. I looked at it and it was us both when we met and stared at each other after she threw her knife at Mello. " When we met." she nodded. I gave her mine which was when we had our first kiss. She saw this and blushed a little bit smiling. "I like it." she said. "Thank you." After a few minutes I noticed she was in deep thought. "What's wrong?" "I can't get my mind of that person we saw earlier." "Me too" she yawned "You should go to sleep y/n." "I won't be able to." I knew y/n was still disturbed and worried. I crawled over to her and awkwardly hugged her. She shyly hugged me back and said "I couldn't ask for someone better." "Me neither, thank you for being there when I was in trouble." She nodded and we broke apart. "Although I should've known e/n would do that to you." she said quietly looking down. I lifted her chin up and kissed her cheek. She looked at me and we both smiled to each other until we heard that it started raining outside. "You should get some sleep." "Ok" she got under the blanket and closed her eyes
*2 hour time Skip brought to you by a Clueless Armin* Same POV

I was playing with my puppets but then I started hearing strange things outside our tent like footsteps because of the leaves getting crushed. 'Something is wrong' our lights were turned off so the only light there was is the lightning outside. I crawled over to y/n who was currently asleep. I poked her cheek and whispered "y/n wake up. Something's not right " she still wouldn't wake up. I gently shook her and she finally woke up "Near wh-"
I covered her mouth and  she looked at me. It was dark but you could still see.  I whispered to her ear "I believe an intruder is outside our tent." "Ok" she whispered back. Both of us heard footsteps and looked to the direction of the sound and just in time , a lightning struck making everything light up. In that one second , we saw a figure outside in baggy clothes. We both froze and slowly looked at each other with our hearts racing. Silence filled the air but broke due to a crazy laugh. A chainsaw was then heard turned on. We scooted as far away from the person outside to the corner. The person then used the chainsaw and broke the tent to get in and kill us. Luckily we were right next to the exit so we quickly unzipped ,got out , and ran away. I looked back and saw a CLOWN (*hides behind Near*). We managed to get away until a horrific scream of a girl made us stop. "My sister!" y/n said. She turned back and I followed. "No no no no no no no ."  We hid behind a bush and saw Watari , Roger , and the others getting in the bus. I then noticed Matt was crying the hardest. 'S/n' i thought as I saw the clown chasing the killer clown chasing them. 'Did they really just leave us behind?' I looked back at y/n and saw her following a trail of blood.

*Flash back to the dream on chapter7*
I looked down and saw a trail of blood. I began to follow it until it reached a stopping point. There I found s/n dead with a knife stuck to her heart. I found a note next to her saying 'SURPRISE Y/N, REMEMBER YOUR DEAR BROTHER?'
*end of flash back *

I looked down and followed the trail of blood. It lead me behind a tree, and as I made the turn , there I saw my sister with a knife through here heart. I fell to my knees not caring how bloody the ground was. This is something I will never be able to unsee. I knew Near was behind me but at this moment I forgot about the situation we were in. Near stood right next to me saying "We have to go now. He is back." "I don't care." We both stayed silent again until we heard the familiar laugh heard earlier. "Young love. How pathetic" 'He will pay' I got up to face the killer clown. His makeup was running down making it look even more disturbing. "Why won't you run away little kids. Oh wait, I killed your twin. Oops." It said. "..."both of us stayed quiet. I kept my head down and I started walking towards the clown. Near just stood behind not being able to move. "Heh? Why don't we make this quick and KILL YOU * hysterical laugh*" He started running to me, with his chainsaw aiming towards me. I dodged it quickly and I ended up behind him. I took the chance to take my knife and jump on him from behind. "HUH?! GET OFF ME!"  I inserted my knife on his back and dragged it down making him fall in pain. I got off before the murderer could hit the floor. "AAAAAAAAAH!"
I stared at him with wide eyes and tilted my head to the side with a big smile. "Your taking to long to die. Don't worry I'll put you out of your misery." I said using the same phrase I used with my parents killer. I stuck my knife to his throat and then the heart. I looked over at Near with the same face but instead of having him run away, he started walking to me. I got up but stayed in the same spot next to the dead body. Near stood in front of me and took the knife out of my hand throwing it to the ground. He looked into my eyes , staying silent , I hugged him. "I'm sorry you had to see that." I told him. "That wasn't your first murder." He hugged back. "How did you know?" "Watari told what happened when he found you two." "Oh" We pulled apart from the hug and stayed silent a few minutes.
       "We are lost."
