Chapter 5: Wounded

          Near POV
   A few minutes after s/a walked out of the room I too was about to get out until someone shoved me hard against the wall. Guess who it was. Yup, MELLO. " WHY DID YOU DEFEND HER?" He said. I just shrugged in response. " You're such an emotionless stupid freak! I hate you!"
He started punching me repeatedly in the stomach and face. He threw me against the ground and my head and stomach also had cuts and bruises. He was about to kick me again while I was just staring at him until he received a kick in the face by ... y/a? Mello fell to the ground from the hard impact but his emotions yet again got the better of him. He stood up once again and started going towards her with an angry look on his face while she just stood still looking at me emotionless. Mello was really close to punching her in her face but she ducked just in time and kicked him in the legs making him fall hard to the ground. Matt appeared " Mello! Where are y-" he gasped running over to Mello who was laying on the ground beaten up. He helped him up then looked at us both and left.
Your POV
After Matt left with Mello, I turned over to see Near staring at me. I walked up to him without saying anything I gently helped him get up trying not to hurt him even more than he already was. We walked all the way to my room and I opened the door with my free hand. I sat him on my bed which was f/c (favorite color). I was awkward while treating the wounds on his face while he just patiently stared at my eyes and watched my every move. I noticed that during the whole process of me disinfecting and treating his wounds he had a hand on his stomach,so after I finished with his face I looked at his stomach and told him " Take it off". He hesitantly started unbuttoning his white long-sleeved shirt (I wonder how he would look like 🤤). It was completely off and I was examining his wounds and they were a bit worse than the ones on his face so this is gonna take longer. He tensed up at my touch but slowly relaxed as he was get to use it. Minutes passed and I finally finished. I looked over at his shirt which was covered in blood. "I can bring you another shirt from your room." I said "I agree" he said as he gave me the keys for his room. I walked out and speed walked to his room before anyone sees me and start spreading rumors. I entered his room and looked inside his drawers looking for his shirts but accidentally found the one where his boxers were (•\\\•). There was one that was black and white with puzzle piece patterned on it. There were other ones that had robots,dinosaurs, and some plain ones. I realized I was taking too long and found the drawer with his long sleeve shirts. To no surprise, they were all the same. I got out, locked the door ,and hurriedly walked back to my room
Near POV
'What is taking her so long?' I thought. And then it hit me, I never told her in which drawer my shirts were in m. 'Oh no, I hope she didn't see my ... but there is 86.9% that she's going to see them' *sigh*. "This is embarrassing" I mumbled to myself. Y/a opened the door with my shirt in hands. She gave the shirt to me without saying anything. "Thank you." I said putting it on. She helped me get up because of the wounds I had. "Goodbye" I told her "Bye". I walked out looking if any one was near. I walked to my room and checked if she saw the drawer but I saw that everything was untouched and the same way I left them. But I'm pretty sure she opened the drawer without touching anything. Yet it's still embarrassing to think that a girl saw them.
S/n POV

I saw Near coming out of our room. 'I wonder if anything interesting happened between them? No way, why am I thinking this? My sister isn't that type of girl because if any guy would try to kiss her , she would kick him in the privates' i entered the room and found her cleaning up things covered in blood. " Oh no! Are you okay? I didn't know it was that time of the month for you. Are you you embarrassed because Near found out?" I said. Y/a just sighed "No , he just got beaten up by Mello and I got into the fight trying to protect him." She told me. " Is that why I saw Matt carrying a passed out Mello?" She nodded in response. "So anyway, what happened between you two?" "I was helping him with the wounds on his face and stomach" "Oh... wait, YOU MADE HIM TAKE OFF HIS SHIRT?!?" "Yes" she said with a slight of blush on her cheeks "Oooooooh Near and y/n sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G" " shut up" " okay okay geez, it's not my fault you have your first crush" I said mumbling the last part, unfortunately she understood perfectly what I said. I glanced back at her and saw her glaring at me. She was about to go out until "WAIT , I have two more questions." "What?" " how did he look like? Did he look hot?" " ugh". She walked out and I giggled ' I ship them'
