Chapter 15

Jonah's POV

"Where's Karen?" I asked Jacky furrowing my eyebrows. Daniel and I were inside Karen & Jacky's apartment because we came to invite them to the beach. It was a perfect day to relax and forget about Mark. We wanted to hang out with them and get to know them more. Jacky shrugged.
"She's probably still working."

"What time does she come out?" I asked. At that moment, the door opened and I could hear Karen laughing with someone. She stepped in with Jack behind her. She smiled at us.
"Hey guys."
"Woah you wear glasses?" Daniel asked.
"That was my reaction!" Jack exclaimed. Karen laughed and walked to her room. Jack followed her.
Why were they together? Where did they come from? What were they laughing at?
"So Jacky what do you say want to go to the beach with us?"
"Where are we going?" I heard a girl say behind me. I turned around and saw Jeylin yawning.
"Sorry just woke up."
"Want to go to the beach with us?"
"Is Corbyn going?" Jacky asked, her cheeks turning pink.
"He said that Zach and him will meet us over there." Jack said, coming out of Karen's bedroom with a big smile on his face. Right now I really wanted to take that smile off his face. I wanted to be the one coming out of Karen's bedroom with a smile on my face. I wanted to be the one making her laugh and smile. I needed to stop. What was I thinking? Was I jealous of Jack?
"Vamos a la playa." Jack said as Jacky and Jeylin left the room.
"Did you just speak chinese?" Daniel said, joking around.

"Karen taught me that. She's really cool and funny. She speaks both Spanish and English. She said she was going to give me more classes in the future in exchange Im going to teach her how to speak French"

"Vamos a La playa means Lets Go to the beach." Karen said, stepping out of her bedroom. We all stopped and stared at her. She was wearing black nike shorts shorts and a black Thrasher tshirt with black/white slip on Vans. She looked really good.
"Whoa. I told you would look better than any girl naked girl." Jack said, checking her out. Karen blushed and giggled. I rolled my eyes at Jack and bit my lip.
"We're still not at the beach. You're just saying that because you haven't seen any girls with bikinis yet." Karen replied.
"I don't need to see other girls to think that you're the prettiest out of all the them."
Karen smiled,her cheeks turning more pink.
"Shall we go?" Jeylin said. Her and Jacky were already dressed as well.
"Our uber is here!" Daniel said, grabbing Jeylin's duffel bag. I grabbed Jacky's and Karen's.

"What a strong man" Karen teased. I plastered a fake smile on my face and winked. We all went outside and got in the Uber. I sat in the front while Daniel, Jack and Jeylin sat in the middle and Jack and Karen sat in the way back. I sighed. I could hear them laughing from here.
This was going to be a really long day.
