Chapter 29

"Jack!" Jeylin said, greeting him by the door.
"Hey. Is Karen ready?"
"Yes she is. Let me call her...KAREN!!" She screamed.
"Ow you dont have to scream Im right behind you."
"Oh sorry" She opened the door wider and there he was.
Little Noodles.
His face lit up as soon as he saw me.
"Wow" he said, checking me out.
I immediately felt self conscious. Was that a good wow or a bad wow? I played with my necklace, nervously.
"So Jack where are you taking my smallest child?" Jeylin asked, interrupting the awkwardness.
Oh god.
"Im taking her to the movies."
"What movie are you watching?"
"Im not sure yet."
"Is it going to be a rated r movie?"
"Um no"
"Is it going to have any nak-"
"Okay Jeylin. We are going to go now before we miss the movie." I said interrupting her. Jeylin smirked.
"Alright Kiddos Have a Fun Night...actually dont have a lot of fun" she said as our uber pulled up.
"Use Protection!" I heard Jacky screamed as we got in the car and Jack closed the door behind him. We greeted the uber driver and off we went to our destination.
"Im really sorry about that" I whispered.
"Oh Its fine. They're really overprotective. I get it. I have sisters" he said , smiling at me.
Oh God. He is so attractive.
"Um thank you?" Jack asked, laughing.
Oh shit I said that out loud.
"Yea you did" he said,shaking his head and laughing.
"Im sorry."
"Why are you sorry?"
"I dont know.."
He laughed.
"You're so cute"
I blushed.
"We're here." The Uber Driver said. We were at the Grove. We got off and thanked the driver.
"So we really are going to the movies?"
"Yes..unless you dont want to.. i didnt really have anything else planned.."
"The movies is fine. I just thought you were joking around with Jeylin "
We walked toward the theaters and Jack opened the door for me.
We stood in line, reading the display of the movies that were on.
"What movie are we going to watch?" I asked.
"How do you feel about Baby Driver?" He asked.
"Sounds good."
Jack bought us tickets and we walked toward the snack bar.
"Want to share some popcorn and an ICEE?" I asked.
"Sure" he said, taking out his wallet.
"Noo, ill pay this time."
I bought popcorn and a Cherry ICEE for us to share and we walked inside the theater room. We walked and sat down all the way at the top. The movie had already started.
(A/N: ive never Actually seen this movie so Im going to fast forward to after the movie)

[TIME SKIP;AFTER MOVIE]
The movie had finished a couple of minutes ago. Jack and I were still sitting down, waiting for everyone to leave. Jack was staring at me. I awkwardly looked around at the empty theater room, biting my lip. He laughed. I turned to him.
"Whats so funny?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows.
"You are."
"Im not even doing anything."
"Yea but I see that you're either nervous or uncomfortable."
"Im not nervous" I scoffed.
"Oh really? Then why are you biting your lip so hard? See you already have a little blood on your lips. Let me get that for you" he grabbed a napkin and wiped the blood off my lip. I winced slightly.
"Did I hurt you??" He asked, panicking.
I shook my head.
"Oh good"
He was so concentrated that he didnt notice I was staring. His lips looked so pink and so kissable. I shook the thought off my head. When he finally finished, I quickly stood up.
"Are you ready to go?"
"Hold on a minute." He said, grabbing my hand and pulling me back down. He stared at me for a few moments.
"You're so beautiful Karen. You don't know how badly I want to kiss you right now and how badly I want you to be mine."
I froze. I didnt know what to say. No one has ever told me that.
"Can i kiss you?" he asked.
I didnt say anything. I just nodded.
He grabbed my hand and leaned in slowly. It was like a movie. I was about to get kissed by the famous Jack Avery. My heart was beating fast I was afraid he would hear it.  When His lips finally reached mine,  my lips immediately responded.I was surprised. I didnt know I knew how to do this. I closed my eyes, savoring the moment. His mouth was so warm, the caress of his lips softer than I could have imagined. After a few moments, he finally pulled away. I opened my eyes.
"Wow you're a great kisser. Is this your first kiss?" He asked. I nodded, trying to catch my breath.
"Im honored to give you your first kiss, princess.That was actually pretty amazing for a first kiss."
"Really?"
He nodded and stood up.
"Now that we kissed. I want to ask you if  you want to be my girlfriend?"
I smiled and nodded. I stood up and hugged him.
"Finally I can call you mine, princess." He said, kissing my forehead.
