Chapter 16

Corbyn's POV

"Jacky!" I shouted as soon as I saw her. I was so happy that I was seeing her again. She smiled, walking towards me.
"Hey" she said. I opened my arms and wrapped my arms around her.
"How are you doing?"
"Great now that I go to see you."she replied. My cheeks turned pink.
"You look Great."
"Thanks so do you" she blushed. She was so cute.
"Hey man. I thought you didn't want to come" Jonah said, giving a man hug.
"I didnt but then I heard you were inviting the girls so I thought I should come and hang."
Jonah smirked and Jacky nervously played around with the ring on her finger. We all took off our shoes and walked toward the water.
"Ugh Stupid sand. " Jacky complained behind me. It was really hard to walk on it. I stopped and grabbed her hand.
"I don't want you to fall."
"Thanks."
The beach was empty so we found a good spot near the water. The girls open their duffel bags and took out towels so they could lay on it. All of us boys took off our shirts. The girls whistled, which made us all laugh.
"Want to get in the water with me?" I asked Jacky.
"Sure."
I grabbed her hand again and we ran to the water. As soon as we got there, Jacky splashed water into my face. I gasped in shocked. Jacky giggled and swam to the opposite direction.
"You better swim faster before I get you." I teased and swimming after her.
The next few hours consisted of Jacky and I splashing each other with water and then chasing each other. It was really great. I stared at her, she was so beautiful and different. I think I was starting to like her as more than a friend.
"Uh Corbyn? Hello?" She said, waving a hand in front of me.
"Sorry I spaced off." I said smiling at her.
"Im tired. We've been swimming for hours now. Want to go join the others and rest?" She asked. I nodded.
"Let's see who gets their first." She said, swimming back to where everyone was. I swam after her. She got out of the water first and then I followed. I must've gotten out too quickly because I tripped. Jacky was in front of me so I accidentally pushed her down and we manage to both fall down. We both burst out laughing as soon as we hit the ground.
"Are you okay?" I asked when I calmed down.
"Yes" She said, smiling.
I stood up and then held my hand out for her. She took my hand and stood up.
"Uyy" our friends teased from where they were all sitting down. I grabbed Jacky's hand and walked over to them.
"How are you love birds doing?" Zach teased, making both of us blushed.
"You seemed to be having a lot of fun over there." Daniel agreed.
"We were" Jacky replied, grabbing another towel from her bag and drying her hair off. I grabbed my towel and did the same, wrapping it around my shoulders after I finished drying my hair.
"What a beautiful day." Jack said. He had his arm around Karen's shoulder. We all agreed.
"What a great day with some great people." Zach said. We all nodded.
"We should do this more often. What do you think Jonah?" Daniel asked. We all turned to Jonah who was being really quiet today. Jonah was just staring at the sunset.
"Jonah? You good bro?" I asked.
"Huh what? Yea, we should do this again." He finally responded while biting his lip. Jonah was acting weird and he was biting his lip. He only bit his lip when he was annoyed or wanting to say something. I'll just ask him if he's okay later.
"Corbyn Pose!" Jacky said. I posed and she took a picture.
"Hey are you Why Dont We?" Some girls around our age asked.
"Yes we are." Daniel answered.
"Can we take a picture with you?"
We all nodded and got up.
"I'll take the picture if you want." Karen said, standing up. The girls nodded and gave Karen their phone.
"Can you carry me on your back?" One of the girls asked me. Jacky slightly frowned and looked away. I furrowed my eyebrows.
Why was she frowning? Was she jealous?
"Sure" I said. She got on my back and Karen snapped several pictures of us.
"Thank you." The girls said, giving us a hug and then walking away.
We sat back down again. There was an awkward silence between us. I turned to Jacky. She was staring at her phone.
"So..." Jeylin said.
"So...." Daniel said , copying her.
"Why is it so awkward?" Zach began singing. We all laughed.
"Do you guys want to grab some food?" Karen asked.
"Im starving" Jack said. The rest of us agreed. We all stood up and put our shirts back on. We picked up our things and walked back to the pier. I grabbed Jacky's hand. Our fingers interwined. We both  smiled. I like the feeling of our hands touching.
"Hey you guys are Why Dont We" a group of girls said. We nodded. We loved our fans and we loved meeting them in public. Our fans where the reason we were growing. It was crazy to think we even had fans. We genuinely loved them and they made us really happy.
"Can we take a picture?"
"Hey can we take a picture too?" another group of girls said.
Jacky let go of my hand, which made me frown. The girls stepped back as the crowd started getting bigger. I began feeling terrified. I was claustrophobic. I didn't really like small places.
"Jonah " I gasped. I was trying to find air.
"You guys Can you please make a line or step back a little. Please Corbyn is claustrophobic. He needs his space" Jonah shouted politely at our fans.
Everyone stepped back.
"Corbyn are you okay man?" Jonah asked, concerned.
I nodded and took a deep breath. I looked around for Jacky but I didn't seem to find her.
I frowned. Whenever I didnt see her I got worried. I didn't want Mark getting near her
"Corbyn, Come on man. Lets go meet some fans."
I nodded and walked over. The faster we took the pictures, the sooner I would go and look for Jacky.
