Chapter 4

Camila's POV

After I dropped the girls each to their houses, I quickly drove over to my house. Eager to get some sleep, I parked my car in the drive way and practically ran inside my house after unlocking the front door.

As I entered my house I took a quick look around and saw no one, which confused me because I'm pretty sure my mom was supposed to be back home already.

I walked into my kitchen to grab myself some water from the fridge when I notice a little note on the kitchen island.

After gulping down my water I picked up the note and proceeded to read through it.

'Mija, me and your father are going out to dinner tonight.
There's money on top of the fridge if you want to order anything. Oh! By the way Sofi is sleeping over at her friends house, they wanted to have a little "play date". So please, just please, if you're thinking of inviting Dinah or anyone over, especially Dinah—'

I lightly laugh.

'—please try not to let them burn the house down cause I know how careless you guys can get.
Ok, we love you and call us if you need anything.
•~~ Mom.'

I placed the note back down onto the kitchen island and walked upstairs to my room, quickly grabbing the money my mom left me.

I took a quick shower, putting on some grey sportsbra with my black briefs before jumping straight into bed.
I'm literally so fucking sleepy, you have no idea.

As I drift off to sleep, my mind couldn't help but think back to that mystery girl I saw at the alley.

I fell asleep thinking about her.

••NEXT MORNING••

Beep beep beep!

I groan loudly when I hear my stupid alarm going off.

I hear some talking downstairs and heard my dad humming his favourite Mexican song.

I guess they came back while I was sleeping.

I turn over to my side and reach out to the little bedside table, grabbing my phone to check through it.

Hmmm let me see..Oh! I got some messages!

Most of them were from Dinah which was just her basic way of texting me everyday.

I laughed a little at her messages. Oh Dinah. What a strange but fun girl.

I quickly got out of bed and raced to the bathroom to freshen up.

After bathing and brushing my teeth, I walked over only in my Calvin Klein briefs and my bra to my draw to pick out my outfit. I decided to wear my ripped skinny jeans, my white v-neck shirt together with my leather jacket and not to forget, my combat boots and my dark shades. (A/N - Ah. The classic bad girl wattpad look yippee.)

After changing, I grabbed my school bag and phone before opening the door and racing down the stairs.

I checked the time to see that it was 8:02am which is fine since school starts at 8:30am.
