Camila POV.

I woke up on my bed alone.
I rubbed my eyes, yawning lightly as I stretched out my limbs.

"Lo?" I called out.

When I didn't get a response I got up quickly from my bed and walked over to the bathroom.

"Laur? You in there?" I asked as I knocked gently in the bathroom door.

Silence.

Great. Just fucking great... Where the hell could she be right now?

"I have died everyday
Waiting for you..."

I widened my eyes in shock.
I turned my head and looked over to the balcony.
I walked slowly and leaned on the sliding door frame.
Lauren was leaning over the edge of the railing.
Her eyes were closed as she sang softly to herself.

"Darling don't be afraid
I have loved you..
For a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more .."
She sang softly to herself.

I smiled to myself.
Wow, she a beautiful voice...

Smiling to myself, I walked over and wrapped my arms around her waist as I rested my chin on her shoulder.
She looked at me shocked and stopped singing immediately.
I shook my head and leaned in to place a kiss on her forehead.

"Don't stop..." I murmured.

"You have such a beautiful voice.. I'm literally amazed "

Lauren blushed and looked down at her fingers.
I smiled as she relaxed more into my body.
Today was Sunday and all I wanna do is lie down in bed and fucking sleep my life away.
A few minutes passed and as much as I love standing here with Lauren in my arms, I'm very hungry and I feel like I'll faint if I don't have any food in my system.

"Um.. Lo?" I said.
Lauren hummed and looked up at me.
I chuckled nervously and looked down at her before speaking.
"Well... As much as I love holding you in my arms.. I'm uh, quite hungry.."
She laughed out loud before shaking her head slightly at me.
"Yea you're right. I'm quite hungry as well."
We pulled away reluctantly from each other, smiling shyly at me as I took her hand.
We walked downstairs together to find my parents making their way outside of the house.
"Mamí? Papí? Where are you guys going?" I asked curiously.
My mom turned around, raising her eyebrows slightly at Lauren, who stood awkwardly by my side.
"We're just going for a doctors appointment...—Oh!? Who's your friend, Karla?" My mom asked as she smiled at Lauren.
My dad showed up, standing beside my mom as he gave Lauren a friendly smile.
I cleared my throat, not really liking how they're looking at me and Lauren. I shook my head and gave them a small smile.

"Mom, Dad. This is Lauren, my friend." I said as I emphasized the word 'friend'.
My dad smirked at me before looking at Lauren.
"Oh? A friend..........Hmmm...... Interesting......"
I rolled my eyes at my dad.
Seriously!? My parents can be so annoying sometimes.
I signed loudly.

"So.. Are you single? I mean.... This may sound crazy but, you and Karla would make a great couple.."
I coughed out loud as I stared wide eyed at my mom.
Lauren was blushing as she looked down at her fingers.
I cleared my throat out loud and clapped my hands together.
"Okay!? Um.. We're really hungry right now and you guys should go now before you're late..!" I said as I pushed them both out of the door.
My mom laughed and walked with my dad towards their car.
"We'll be back later honey. Oh! And Sofi is probably still sleeping, so.... No funny business.." My mom said sternly.
