Chapter 46

It's been a few months after the incident and things have been slowly getting back to normal for the girls.

Camila and the girls make their way into school. It's no surprise that nearly everyone heard about what happened and how Camila was shot. Of course they don't know the full story, some made up rumors that she got shot because she was involved with the mafia. Which.. Well, it's nearly the truth but not entirely.

Yeah. Nice try buddy.

Others made up a rumor that she wasn't shot at all, and that she was just in Hawaii on vacation. Funny, huh?

"Damn. What a bunch of fucktards." Dinah grumbled out as they walked their way down the school hallways.

The stares of everyone burning through their heads.

Camila shrugged, not feeling at all bothered as she held on to Lauren's hand, smiling softly at the green eyed beauty.

"Babe. Just leave them be." Normani whispered out, her arm sliding to link with Dinah's arm.

"Hey Dinah." A girl said flirtatiously as they passed by.

Normani whipped her head back so quickly, her arm slipping off from Dinah's hold.

"Um excuse me bitch." She started off, taking a moment to stare this girl down. The girl raised her eyebrows, trying to look unfazed but failing with every passing second Normani continued to glare at her intensely.

"Dinah's mine. Okay? MINE. So you best get your musty crusty DUSTY looking ass away from here right now or God so help me I will brea—"

"Okayyyyy babe. Come on we have to go." Dinah walked towards her, casting an apologetic glance at the terrified girl before swiftly pulling Normani away before any fight could break loose.

Camila looked back, smiling amusingly. "Geez Mani. What was that?" They finally reached Lauren's locker, all of them standing while Lauren busied herself with grabbing her books.

Normani scrunched her eyebrows in frustration. "Just some bitch that thought flirting with my girlfriend was okay." She muttered out.

Dinah back hugged her, smiling. "Babe what happened to 'just leave them be'?" She mumbled out teasingly.

Normani rolled her eyes. "Yeah. Unless they want to fuck your girlfriend." She growled out.

Camila turned to Lauren while Dinah tried to calm her girlfriend down.

Lauren closed her locker shut once she picked out the needed books. Glancing at the girl beside her, she chuckled.

"Hi Camz."

Camila smiled lovingly.

"Hi Lolo."

With a soft smile, Lauren leaned in to peck her lips gently.

Camila closed her eyes at the contact, sighing dreamily after the peck. "Wow. I'm never gonna get tired of kissing you."

Lauren smiled. "Pervert." She said with a teasing smile.

Camila just shrugged her shoulders casually, leaning on her side as she continued to stare lovingly at Lauren.

Prom is coming up soon and Camila plans on taking the green eyed girl. She doesn't want to be too cliché about it though. Like... How in the world is she gonna ask her? With flowers? Maybe a walk on the beach? She doesn't know. But what she does know is that she's taking Lauren. That's for sure.

The bell rings, taking Camila out of her thoughts. "Well. Lets get to class." Camila says with a sigh.

The girls nod and they all walk towards homeroom.

After taking roll call, Camila, Lauren and Dinah walk towards their first period which was English.

'Remind me why I took English again. Ugh' is the only thought that runs through Camila's mind as she groans internally.

Camila sits at the back, Lauren on her left side while Dinah sits on her right.

"Write an essay on ways to reduce Climate Change..... I mean. I get that Climate change is a true issue and stuff but... Cmon..this is some freshman shit. I think I did this in 7th grade even. We're seniors. Can't we write essays on protection for sex?" Dinah says with a dramatic sigh, looking through her paper.

Camila chuckles. "Careful. Lauren might tell Normani." She teases, laughing at the offended gasp Lauren lets out.

"Excuse me? I'm not someone who just goes around tattle-telling around." She huffs.

Camila smirks and Dinah gives Lauren a side-eye glance. "You kinda are Lauren." Dinah says with a small guilty smile.

Lauren frowns. "Huh? How?" She says, confusion written on her facials.

Camila smiles at the cute pout on Lauren's face, so she leans in to peck her lips, smiling again at the noticeable blush on her girlfriend's cheeks after she did so.

Dinah fake gags at the two, laughing lightly at Camila who flips her off.

"Well. For starters. Remember that time, about a few months ago when we had that hangout at Mani's house, and we were binge watching that one series and you spoiled who the killer was and we wanted to throw you off a cliff?" Dinah says with a smirk.

Lauren rolls her eyes.
"Okay that was completely an accident. How was I suppose to know that y'all didn't watch the damn episode when it literally came out A YEAR AGO. Like. Come on. Not my fault yall were outdated." She says, defending herself.

Dinah just shakes her head. "Okay. But what about that other time when my cousin came over and you told her that Normani didn't really like her because she was too bossy?"

Lauren blushed a little in embarrassment.

“When Normani clearly stated that she didn't want her to know.” Dinah finished off with a smirk.

Lauren looked away, shrugging her shoulders, her cheeks pink in embarrassment and Camila chuckled, kissing her cheek before turning around to shove Dinah back playfully, giving her a playful glare.

“Bitch. Stop trying to embarrass my girl.” She scolds.

Lauren feels her heart flutter at being called Camila's girl. Then she wondered. What's going to happen after they graduate? This is quite frankly her first time being in a serious relationship with someone and... To think that it could all be over breaks her heart.

She gazes over at Camila. She's laughing at something Dinah is saying and Lauren can't help the small tug at the corners of her lips as she stares at her in awe.

She wonders if she'll be the one to marry the beautiful girl in front of her one day.

When Camila's eyes pan over to her, a loving smile on her lips as she leans in to kiss the tip of her nose, before pulling back to shove a gagging Dinah away, Lauren smiles.

Yes. I'm definitely marrying this girl one day.
