Chapter 18

Finally reaching the destination. Camila takes a moment to look around the unfamiliar place. They drove for about 40 minutes and Camila's gonna be honest, her hands hurt as fuck from gripping the steering wheel for too long. But, she ignores that feeling for now since she's pretty sure she's getting herself into something more dangerous.
Sighing out loud , she takes a quick glance at Lauren who seems to be texting on her phone.

"I just texted Devin. We should probably head inside now." She says once she looks up at Camila.
Camila nods her head and turns her head to look at the building once more.

It was a very fancy building, a very huge one at that and she's surprised she's never seen this building or ever came to this place before.
She turns back to Lauren who looks at her concerned.
"If you don't want to go, I understand." She says.

Camila raised her eyebrows and shakes her head as she sends the green eyed girl a smile.
"No, its fine, really.. I want to help you, there's nothing that's going to change my decision right now." She reassures her.
Lauren smiles and whispers a small 'thank you' to which Camila nods her head to.

Taking a deep breath, they both step out of the sport's car and share a quick glance at each other before walking forward.
Camila was nervous out of her mind. She's never been involved in these type of things, and here she is..
Quickly interlacing their fingers together, she sends Lauren a small smile to reassure her that everything's okay before having one of the guards open the glass door for them.
They walk inside and Camila couldn't help but  notice how huge and beautiful the inside was.
It was pretty empty and they turned their head when they saw a huge guy coming towards them.
"Is that Devin?" She whispered into Laurens ear.
Lauren furrowed her eyebrows and shook her head, signalising no.
Camila raised her eyebrows and tighten her hold on the older Cubans palms.
He now stood in front of them and raised his eyebrows at the two girls.
"May I please get your names?" He asked.
Camila looked down and just noticed the book he was holding.

Lauren turned to him and gave him a small smile.
"Lauren Jauregui." She replied back with a slight nod of her head.
The guy looked back down into his book and took out a pen from his pocket and ticked something.
"Ah. Okay, Devin is expecting you. I assume this is your date?" He says as he nods at Camila.
Lauren nods her head and looks at Camila, giving her a small smile.
The guy hums and takes out his pen to tick something on his book again.
"Alright. Please follow me."
He says and turns around, gesturing with his fingers to follow him as he walks forward.

They walk towards the elevator and he presses the button to the highest floor. A few minutes later, they are escorted once again towards a door at the back and he steps aside as he gestures for them to walk in first.
Camila can hear music and a lot of people talking, so she assumes that they're having some sort of work party or some shit.

Lauren turns to Camila and smiles before opening the double doors.

They walk in together and Camila takes a deep breath as she looks around.
It seems like a normal party, although she wouldn't call this a party.. She'd most likely think of this as a fancy bachelor party, considering how everyone's dressed up fancily. She's just glad she decided to wear something decent. She's also amazed at how big this whole room is. Literally.

She turns to Lauren and smiles at her.
Nobody seems to realise the two new faces in the room or they just don't care at all, which doesn't really matter to Lauren.

She tugs at Camila's arm and they make their way towards the food section.
After grabbing themselves some punch, they take a seat on one of the tables.
Taking a small sip, Camila turns to Lauren with her eyebrows raised up.
"You know... When you said 'a huge party' , I sort of thought you meant the crazy club kind of parties.." She states.
