Chapter 38

"Fuck my life."

Camila groaned out loudly when she received a text from Heather and—'how in the fuck did she get my number?' Camila thought.

Heather- hey there papi. You're still coming at 7 o'clock right?

Camila rolled her eyes and typed in a reply.

Camila- first of all. How in the fuck did you get my number.

Camila- and second of all. Just wait ur ass cuz Lauren and I will be there either way.

Heather- well me getting ur number is a mystery for you to find out. And I'll be waiting for u babe. Or should I say, papi? ;)

Camila- im not ur 'papi' or ur 'babe' so please don't. Its disturbing.

Camila locked her phone afterwards, walking over to her wardrobe to pick out her clothes.

She's still worried about that incident in school. The one with the camera and shit and she knows she needs to keep an eye out. She hasn't told Lauren yet, but she's planning to.

Now however.. Now she's got a bigger issue in her hands.

Yeah. She's about to see her ex. The one person she's been trying to avoid and yet, here she is, attending her birthday party. Yeah.. How do you?... How do you act when you're going through...something like this?

She was with Hailee for quite some time and..well, let's just say that Hailee did something so....so unexpected that just downright ended their relationship. And no. She didn't cheat on her. More like..betrayed her. Betrayed her trust and gave her double thoughts. Yeah betrayed and cheated are probably the same thing but its whatever.

"Kaki!!"

Sofi comes into her room and Camila jumps. "Sofi! God you need to stop scaring me like that." She breaths out, smiling when Sofi just shrugs her shoulders.

"Wow. Are you going anywhere?" Sofi asks, raising her eyebrows as she motions to the pair of jeans and shirt that Camila has in her hands. Camila nods her head and moves past Sofi, throwing her clothes onto her bed and sighing out loudly.

"Yeah. There's a birthday party that I have to attend which is....... pretty unfortunate for me.." She mumbles the last part and Sofi just eyes her suspiciously before shrugging.
"A birthday party?! Oh oh can I come?" Sofi says, eyes shining with excitement as she stares at Camila with hopeful eyes.

Camila sighs and shakes her head sadly. "Sorry Sofi. But...this isn't a party that suits you." She says, watching as Sofi pouts and looks down sadly.
"But don't worry. I'll come back and I promise I'll take you somewhere tomorrow. It'll be fun I promise." Camila says, grinning at Sofi who smiles brightly back and nods her head. "Aw thanks sis!" She hugs Camila one more time before running out the door, making Camila smile amusingly.
