Chapter 9

Chase's P.O.V.

I woke up soaking wet. I looked around and saw forest. I growled she's still gone. I took off running in a random direction. That's when I heard the low growl.

Shay's P.O.V.

When I opened my eyes I saw Ryan in front of me. I groaned and rolled my eyes. "what do you want it's to early." I whined. he growled. "shut up." I shut my mouth and backed into my seat. "who's chase." he asked me. "my 'wonderful' ex." I said carefully. he smiled. "who do you like." I frowned. "nobody." I said nonchalantly and shrugged. his smile lessened. he came over and wrapped his arms around me. I tried to back away. "Ryan." I whimpered. "what." he answered. "please not today I'm not in the mood." I whispered. he sighed and backed away. "thank you." I said with a tiny smile. he smiled back. I had the sudden urge to hug him, so I gently wrapped my arms around him.

He seemed surprised but hugged back. I smiled and let go. he pulled back smiling. I looked down and rememebered chase. I felt guilty hugging Ryan. "what's wrong baby girl." he asked.

"Nothing just thinking." I told him forcing a smile. I rubbed my belly and I heard him growl. I backed away scared. I looked at his eyes and saw them turn from black back to his normal color. he bent down beside me panicking. "baby I didn't mean to scare you." He whispered. I nodded looking away. he turned my head to him. "I mean it I'm sorry I didn't mean it." I just nodded looking at the floor. he sighed and pulled me on his lap. I tried to get off. "please Ryan I'm not in the mood." I begged him. he growled. "fine what ever." he said and dropped me on the floor. I heard the door slam. I pulled my knees up to my chest and cried.

When I stopped I looked around. in the very corner of the room I saw a small window. I ran towards it. I lifted it up quietly. I stepped outside smiling. I climb up a tree and moved to the next one. I kept climbing when I heard the low growl. I froze knowing I've been found. I looked behind me and saw Ryan. then I looked in front and saw a very naked chase. a smile broke out on my lips. he came he came for me.

I saw Ryan charge at chase and try to tackle him but chase did a smooth dodge and Ryan missed. that's when chase tackled Ryan. I saw chase deliver hard blows to Ryan's jaw and face. I covered my mouth. "stay away from her." chase yelled at ryan. he punched him one more time and got off. "baby, shay where are you?" I climbed down but slipped and fell. I screamed only to but wrapped up in strong arms. I looked up to see chase's face. I smiled. "you came for me." I whispered. "of course I'll always be here." he replied before kissing me with those lips I missed so much.

Once I was back in the safety of my house. I layed down on the couch. " hey babe." I heard a husky voice say. "Josh." I said smiling. I jumped off the couch and jumped in his arms. " I missed you so much, are you ok?" he asked. "I missed you so much too Joshy and yea just a little bruised." he kissed my cheek. "I'm just glad I have you you back." he said smiling. "me to."

I heard some one clear their throat. I looked and saw chase. shirtless. Oh sweet Jesus. I gawked at his body. I looked back at his face and saw him smirking. "like what you see." he said. I started blushing. "you have explaining to do." I said seriously. he sighed and looked at josh. i turned and looked at josh. "What do you know." I asked slowly. "COMING MOM." he yelled and ran up the stairs. I laughed and turned back to chase. "ok let's go sit down." He said I nodded and went to the couch.

"Ok. were to began." he asked him self. "how about the beginning." he nodded.

"So I know you like twilight and Jacob and junk. well I'm like Jacob. I'm a werewolf." he said. I started laughing. "yea right funny." I said still laughing. I looked back at him and saw a big wolf in his place. I blinked still looking and saw the wolf turn back into chase. I nodded. "so your telling the truth." He nodded.

"So all werewolves have mates. which is someone one we were ment to be with that their like our soul mates. when a wolf's mate gets killed they go crazy like ryan. he used to be a perfect wolf. he met his mate and she was a rouge. which is a wolf that got thrown out of their pack for many reasons. so Ryan's mate was a rouge and her pack wanted to kill ours. one day we went into battle and she attacked me and I killed her. Ryan went crazy and took you."

I nodded. "so who's your mate." he smiled. "she's wonderful I already met her." I nodded and my face fell. he came over to me. "she's beautiful, smart funn- "enough please." I begged. "hold on she's sitting right here In front of me. it's you shay your my mate." I looked up and smiled. I leaned in and kissed him. "i love you shay." " I love you chase."
