Chapter 13

Shay's P.O.V.

I woke up to a bright light. I blinked and looked around and saw the curtains were open. I sighed and got up and closed them. no use in trying to go back to sleep now. I headed towards the door and into the hall. I went down stairs and looked around for the kitchen. I sighed not being able to find it. I turned around and saw the guy jack. "jack." I said and he turned around and looked at me. "yea shay." he said grinning.

"Uhm where's the kitchen." I ask blushing feeling pretty stupid. he chuckled and grabbed my hand and pulled me through the house. finally we reached the kitchen. "what would you like." jack asked once we entered the kitchen. "to leave." I said glaring at him. He scratched the back of his head. "shay." I cut him off. "forget it, you can't even help me even though we went to 8th grade formal together then you cheated on me with Bethany. so you owe me a lot but you know what scre you. ok. we good." I say trying not to yell.

I turn around and walk out. I sigh, I miss josh I miss chase I miss em. I kept wandering around until I found a glass door that lead outside. I smiled and crept over to the door. I gently opened it. as soon as my feet hit the ground I was running. I was pretty fast so I made good time. I kept running until I heard a howl. I froze and my blood went cold. I saw a creek so I climb in it to mask my sent. after that I climbed into a tree.

I heard footsteps getting closer. I held my breath. "oh shay come out to play." luke said in a sing song voice. I closed my eyes. "hm I wonder where she could be." luke said with his back to me. I moved behind the cover of some leaves. "shay cut the crap.I can smell you know just come down and save everyone the trouble of this." luke said turning and facing me. I shook my head a climbed farther. he growled and did a low whistle thing. suddenly a lot of buff scary looking men where standing around ever tree. "grab her." I heard him mumble under his breath. I took that as my cue to climb. I climb from limb to limb from tree to tree. finally I reached the end of the line and there was a clift. I jumped down to the edge and looked down. there was a crawl space just big enough for me.

I turned and saw them coming closer. I held my breath and jumped. my hands scrapped the floor of the space and hoisted my self up. I crawled in the hole where I couldn't be seen. "where is she." luke yelled then hit the ground. I cowered and moved in closer. "lets go back maybe she circled around." luke said calmly. I heard their footsteps retreating. I looked down and saw a beach.

I remember this beach my and chase used to come here a lot. I looked down the beach and saw someone walking towards me. luke was the only thing that popped in my mind. I crouched farther in the hole. the figure got closer and closer. I could finally see their face.

"Chase." I said breathlessly. I saw him look up with misty eyes. "shay." he said and his voice broke my heart. "TRUST FALL." I yelled and jumped down and he caught me.

"chase I'm so sorry I know you didn't kiss her I should've listened to you and luke he's a wolf and took me." I said my words running together.

"shay."

"I'm so sorry chase."

"Shay."

" You probly hate me."

He pushed his lips down on mine. "shay shut up." he groaned pulling back. I smiled and hugged him tight. He rubbed my back and I winced. "hun are you ok." he asked worried. I cringed as he turned me around and pulled up my shirt. I could tell he saw the marks because he growled.

"Who did this." he asked.

"Luke." I whispered. he growled and slammed my shirt down. he started walking away. "where are you going." I asked scared he was leaving. he turned back and his eyes went soft. "baby I'm not leaving I'm going kick Luke's butt." he said and leaned down and kissed me. I nodded and he marched off to go hurt luke.

I'm so sorry for taking forever to update. I went on a mission trip and it took forever to get there because we had so many issues. but the lives you change on these trips are just amazing. these people have nothing and you are giving them something. it's just so amazing how this stuff works. then my great uncle died so I had his funeral. then I'm having writers block. also today I went to the doctor and I'm having sugery so wish me luck.
