Shay's P.O.V.

I looked out the window at the trees flying by. we came to a sudden stop. we were at a lake that had a gazebo and a crowd of people. I fidgeted nervously. I felt someone touch my arm and I jumped. I heard Colin laugh. I glared at him and opened my mouth to speak. "Why are we here?" I asked trying to hide my nervousness. he looked down before answering. "you'll see." he said and offered me a smile. I rolled my eyes and got out. I got the stroller and got the boys in. I walked around the truck and saw Colin waiting for me. he smiled at me and put his arm on the small of my back. "play along." he whispered into my ear. I nodded stiffly.

We walked over to the crowd and we walked infront. "pack." Colin said in a loud voice. "alpha." the crowd responded. he pulled me close. I tried to act like I liked it. "this is hopefully your new luna." he said smiling down at me. I smiled up trying to play along. he got down on one knee. "shay will you marry me?" he said pulling out a ring. I heard gasps an aws ring out in the audience. "I'm I'm I'm sorry I can't marry you." I whispered. he nodded and stood up. he roughly grabbed my arm and I grabbed the stroller. he led me to the truck. I loaded in the boys. I sat in the front seat shaking. he got in and slammed the door. I flinched and faced forward. "what was that." he yelled.

"I'm not going to marry a man I don't love." I said in a cold hard voice. "I don't care what you think." he spat. "you will pay you embarrassed me infront of my own pack. I told you to play along but no you had to screw everything up." he yelled angrily.

"I'm sorry that I said no to a psycho killer and kidnapper." I yelled back. He flinched. "I'm not a killer." he said gripping the steering wheel tighter turning his knuckles white. I rolled my eyes. soon we pulled back into the drive way. I got the boys out and back into our room. I put them on their play mat. I grabbed my phone and looked for missed calls or text. I looked up at the boys. chase and josh stood up. I turned my phone on video and they took their first steps. I smiled and hit stop. I was about to call chase but my phone died. I sat down on the bed. I heard the door open an Colin come in. I backed up on the bed to the headboard. he came and sat on the edge of the bed. "I'm sorry I yelled at you." he said staring me in the eyes. I nodded.

"You know if you hadn't killed my parents and kidnapped me you would be cute and actually not make me wanna go die in a hole." I said with a little laugh. he smirked. "you think I'm cute?" I shrugged. he came and sat beside me.

He gently rubbed my arm. I stood up. and pulled down on my dress. "Stop touching me." I said angrily. he laughed and stood up. he walked up to me. "like I said I like this dress." he said and ran his hand down the side of my dress. I stepped away. "and I thought you were nice." I mumbled. he laughed and picked my up. "put me down." I said through clenched teeth. he did as I said. I sat on the bed. he came and sat on the floor infront of me. He grabbed my wrist. I tried to get free but he held on tighter. He stood up and roughly pulled me to him. "Stop colin." I begged as his grip got tighter. I saw him clenched his teeth. I struggled to get free. he pushed me on the bed. i took this chance to knee him. he groaned and rolled over. I ran to the door but Colin was faster. he grabbed me. I felt the tears rolling down my cheek. he threw me aginist the wall. I cried in pain. I couldn't move. I tried to sit up but I think he broke my back. I felt my self about to black out from the pain. the last thing I heard before I blacked out was "I'm sorry."

I opened my eyes slowly. I looked around and saw I wasn't in the old room. I looked down and saw I was chained to a chair. I clenched my teeth. "so I see sleeping beauty is awake." I heard a voice say. I looked around and saw a guy with Carmel hair grey eyes and tan skin. "who are you?" I asked trying to stay calm. "Colin's beta." I nodded. "Where's my boys?" I asked scared of the answer. the boy nodded to the corner of the room where they were sleeping in a crib. I nodded with a smile.

"What's your name?"

"Jay."

"Cool."

"Not really."

"Your right."

"I like you your funny."

I laughed at him. "why are you here?"

"Colin is busy."

"With what."

"Lauren."

"Brunette really mean?"

"The exact one."

"So do they have something."

"She wishes. he likes you more which everyone does cause you have a back bone well a broken one."

"Dude really he broke my back."

"Afraid so princess."

I groaned and closed my eyes."i don't wanna be here jay."

"I know."

"Help me and this could be a beautiful friendship." I said with a smirk.

"But Colin would dis own me."

"Look I have a plan and you could come live with me."

"Deal." he said with hope in his eyes.
