Shay's P.O.V.

I woke up to someone tapping my shoulder. i looked up and saw a student nurse around my age. "I'm sorry but miss you can't be in here." I looked at him and then back at chase. "look I can't leave him." I said trying not to cry. "I'm sorry but you need to leave." I growled at him. My eyes went wide in shock. he looked at me with black eyes and growled. I tried to step back a little bit but he growled.

'Is he your mate?" he asked after he calmed down. I nodded. "we have three pups." he looked at me with sympathy. "are you human?" he asked. "I guess I think my dad and mom were half wolves so I guess I'm like a quarter of a wolf." "what is your name?" he asked slowly.

"Shay carter." he growled slightly. "your parents are dead aren't they. everyone thought you died with them." I looked at him shocked. "well I think I'm alive." I said trying to add some humor. he laughed slowly.

I looked down at chase. he was so pale. I reached down and moved his hair from his forehead. I bit my lip to try to keep the water works from starting. "Hey it's ok." the nurse said hugging me from the side. "what's your name?" I asked him. "Sean." he said with a goofy smile. I smiled back. "so are you married to him?" I sighed.

"we have been dating for 7 years and the morning I found out I was pregnant with my wonderful baby boys I went over to tell him and all I found was a note. at this time I didn't know bout werewolves. so I was with my other mate who is a vampire I just found out he's my mate and a vampire. well I got kidnapped then chase came back and was my knight in shining armor. that's when I found out about werewolves and rouges which is why he left and why my parents died." I said trailing off at the end.

He was staring at me like I grown an extra head. lets just say he said a four letter word I'm not going to repeat. I softly laughed at him. "you have been through a lot." I nodded.

i sighed looking down at chase. I grabbed my phone to see how the boys are. before I could text Anna, Sean grabbed my phone. I tried grabbing it back but curse his long arms. finally he gave it back. I looked and he put his number in as SEAN 🏥🚑. I laughed.

"Thanks." I said still laughing. he smiled. "welcome." I sat down in the chair and studied chase. He looked so fragile. I heard footsteps and saw josh coming in. I couldn't help but smile. he leaned in and kissed me. I smiled when he pulled back. I heard someone clear their throat. "oh josh this is Sean." I looked at josh and he hissed. I smacked him in the chest. "be nice." he looked at the floor blushing.

"So this is the vampire?" sean asked smirking. I nodded. "You be nice to." He held up his hands in surrender. I laughed and looked back at chase. I gently grabbed his hand. "you'll be ok baby." I whispered. I sighed not removing my hand from his.

Then he squeezed my hand.
