Chapter 16

Shay's P.O.V.

"Hello princess." he whispered.

"Get away from me." I yelled. I heard beating on the door and muffled voices.

"chase." I screamed. I heard the beating getting louder. I heard Ryan laugh.

I stood up and stumbled some. I started for the door. I felt Ryan's arms wrap around my right as I reached the knob. I barely had a chance to unlock the door.

Ryan pushed me back on the bed. I struggled trying to move. "chase." I screamed before Ryan slapped me. I bit my lip. right as he was about to kiss me the door came flying towards us. the door hit Ryan and he fell off. I looked over and saw josh chase jack and em. I smiled as josh tackled Ryan as he got up. I backed into the corner of the room. chase came over and engulfed me in a hug.

I looked and saw josh was beating the living day lights out of ryan. I heard chase growl and josh climbed off to let chase finish him off.

Josh walked over to me and kissed my forehead. I smiled and leaned into him. I looked over his shoulder and saw chase strangle Ryan until he passed out.

The doctor came in and stared at us. "I came to get shay for surgery what happened to the intern who was supposed to prep you."

I shrugged. " he never came this drunk dude came in wearing a doctors coat came in and passed out cold." I said lying almost to easily. He nodded.

"Well let's get you ready for surgery." I nodded and laid down on the bed.

Once they got me changed and my iv started they left me alone for a while. I heard a knock on the wall right beside where the door was supposed to be. "come in." I said stiffening.

My heart stopped as my best friends came in. "Anna cat?" I asked making sure I wasn't imagining them. they smiled and came and hugged me.

"Alpha." the said nodding to chase. "girls." he said nodding back. I made an o with my mouth. "Y'all could've told me." I said trying to act angry but ended up smiling.

"Atleast we are here for the birth of y'all's children." I smiled and pulled them into a hug.

"Time for her to go into surgery." the doctor said walking in. I nodded chase bent down and kissed me. josh kissed my forehead and hugged me. jack em Anna and cat hugged me before they wheeled me off.
