It was a beautiful day in New Jersey as my best friend--er, I mean, sister-- and I sat down in the front row of the bleachers at the stadium. We had finally made it to the Super Bowl. We'd been watching our favorite team, the BMS Mountain Goats, play on TV since the beginning of that summer. I looked over at my friend, Sunny McDonald, who handed me my Thad Castle jersey, and I looked down in realizing I wasn't wearing it. I raised an eyebrow in question, and she seemed to know what I meant.

"You forgot it in the charger." She uttered as she sat down beside me. I nodded and took it from her, eyeballing a stain on her Moran jersey.

"Sunny! I got that for your 23rd birthday and you've already stained it?" I cried, shaking my head as she noticed the stain.

"Shit! Ice, I'm so sorry, I'll wash it when we get home." She apologized, rubbing the stain, but to no avail.

"It's fine, Sun. Just don't let Alex see it when he signs your jersey later on." I giggled as I held my hand up in the air, slapping her hand and exchanging a few childish laughs with her. We settled down in our seats when the teams took their positions on either side of the thick white center line, and listened in as the announcers oily voice introduced each team. It wasn't long until we both leaned forward in our seats, watching our favorite football stars. I nudged Sunny when I saw Thad look our way, and I blew him a kiss, and to our surprise he blew a kiss back.

"Dude! That was sweet! You see that?!" I exclaimed, causing him to look back over. This time I did a "Call me" sign, and he gave me a thumbs up.

"Shit yeah!" Sunny laughed as Moran began calling names.

"Blue eighteen! Blue eighteen!" And just like that, the game was on.

At half time, the BMS team took their break on my side of the stadium. Sunny had gone for a washroom break, and to fix her hair, so she missed everything that had happened during that beautiful moment. I was paying no mind to anything around me, when I heard someone calling me. I looked up to see Thad had been trying to get my attention for a minute or so now. I pointed at myself and he nodded, so I stood up and nervously approached the side, the short wall keeping me from him.

"Hello there." He greeted as I tried to give off a friendly smile. "What's your name?" He asked, smiling right back.

"My name is Alice, but my friends call me Ice." I replied. He looked around.

"Can I see your phone?" I frowned and fumbled around for my phone, fishing it out of my back pocket.

"Here." I handed it over. Hell, he could've stolen it and I wouldn't have even cared. I saw him type a number into my phone before handing it back.

"Text me after the game, alright?" He gave me that look a guy usually gives you when he wants to kiss you. I only nodded and watched him take my sharpie from my pocket, then signing the number on my jersey. I smiled and took my marker back.

"Why am I going to text you?"

"Because," He sighed, shifting his weight from one leg to the other. "I want to take you and your little friend out tonight."

"She wouldn't go," I replied sternly. "she doesn't like third-wheeling."

"What if Moran was there?"

"Then you've got yourself a deal." I looked back up, seeing he still gave me that look of discomfort and need. "You can kiss me if you really want to." I heard the crowd gasp as he unexpectedly leaned forward and kissed me passionately, for maybe even longer than a minute. I didn't expect him to actually kiss me.

"You can look forward to more of that tonight." He promised, walking back towards the team to see Moran. I licked my lips and tasted a hint of alcohol, marijuana, and something else. I couldn't quite put my finger on it. I saw the two look my way as Sunny came over and sat down again, catching Thad giving me a small wave. I watched as Alex shook his head and looked our way again, then going to get more water.
