*Thad's Point of View*
I woke up alone. The house was way too quiet for my liking. I knew Alice and the other girls left to go shopping for a wedding dress, so it was only Alex, Mascot, Harmon, and myself in the house. And, of course, the baby. Axel was about two days old, and I was really proud of him. It's really difficult to talk to the media with a baby screaming on your arm, though. I woke up around 10am, realizing it was just too quiet. I could hear faint music coming from Moran's room, but nothing else. I went to Axe's room to make sure everything was alright.
"Buddy, you alright?" I uttered silently as I saw him with the covers over his head. He wasn't moving and it scared me. I pulled the covers down, and sure enough, the baby was immobile with his eyes shut tight. I covered my mouth and ran out of the room, full of fear and worry. Everyone rushed out of their rooms, mostly naked or disturbed from something more important.
"What's up, Thad?" Alex asked, just having gotten back early that morning. He had no idea we'd had the baby.
"He's dead!!!" I panicked as they all looked at me funny.
"Axe?" Sammy cried, "Let me see!" I lead them into the room where he lay unmoving. Alex let out a long sigh, Harmon turned around and walked away, and Sammy started crying. I felt my eyes water up but I tried to keep my cool.
"What a shame," Moran commented, leaving the room with Harmon. I looked over at Mascot as he wiped his face.
"We have to get rid of the body." I finally said as he looked up at me.
"What do you mean?"
"If Alice finds out he's dead she'll kill us all."
"I guess so." That's when my cellphone rang. I answered it to find out it was Ali on the other end.
"Thad! We found the perfect dress!" She exclaimed happily. I nodded my head disappointedly as I stared at the ground.
"That's good."
"Thad, are you alright?"
"Yeah, yeah, I'm uh, just fine Ali." I stuttered quickly, hoping she wouldn't realize I was lying.
"Alright then, I'll be home in an hour, just going to pick up some milk." She added before she hung up.
"Guys! She's gonna be home in an hour!" I looked around to only see Mascot cradling the dead infant in his arms and bawling like a four-year-old. Sammy looked up and saw me cross my arms, trying to retain my tough, awesome look. But once he left the room I lost my remaining sanity. Once I'd calmed myself down enough, I took the baby and looked around, searching for a hiding spot. I ran by Moran and he caught me with the baby in my arms.
"What the hell, Thad?!" He exclaimed as I turned to face him.
"What?!" I snapped back as I hid the baby behind me.
"Nobody wants to find a dead baby, Thad, just tell her!" He tried to reason. I shook my head.
"You're wrong, Moron." I uttered as I continued along my path. With only 20 minutes left, I had to track down House boy and get his help. I'd turned the corner and saw him crouching in the corner.
"Mascot, come on." I coaxed, "We need to get shit done!"
"I can't do it, he's too cute!" Mascot sighed as he stood up. "But I know a place where nobody will ever find him."
She strutted through the door like she owned the place. Well, technically she did. She threw off her Nikes and her leather jacket as she came up to me and hugged me. I tried so very hard not to make her notice something was off, but she could smell it a mile away. Only she came in to get something, headed right for where we'd hidden him.
"Thad?" She sighed as she opened the cupboard. "Why is there a doll in here?" She asked as she picked the doll up. I looked at her and then the doll.
"A what?!"
"You heard me, a doll."
"You mean, that isn't Axe?"
"Of course it isn't!" She sighed and shook her head as Alma brought the baby in with her. He was mostly asleep as he was curled up against Alma's chest. I looked down, disappointed in myself, but knowing it was just my parent instincts kicking in (horribly). She came over and kissed me gently.
"You silly boy, you thought he was dead, didn't you?" She taunted as I felt my urges get out of control.
"Please... Just bone me..." I begged as the girls brought some bags in. She giggled and pulled me with her to our room, where we boned really hard. It was definitely one of the best times I ever had.
