Another typical morning, two years older was the only difference. Axe would sit in his high chair and whine because he was hungry, Thad would come into the house and throw his sweaty gear down on the floor by the table. If it weren't for the maids, I'd go insane cleaning up after him. New Haven wasn't all it was cracked up to be, many European people would move there and be possibly the rudest people I'd ever met. In all the time that had passed, Harmon and Roxxy had gotten married, Thad got dumber, Axe got older. Doesn't seem like much once you think about it.

Back to my morning. I was sitting at the table trying to feed Axe his breakfast. Thad got back from his game against the Denver Broncos, tossing his gear down on the floor as usual. He came by the table, giving me a peck on the cheek, same with Axe, before going to change into some better clothes. Sunny came by, looking exhausted as Alex and Harmon pushed through the front door. I looked over at her as I let Axel down to run around. I could tell by the look on her face that she needed to talk. She looked very concerned and gave Alex an edgy look as he walked past to get changed.

"Shoot."

"Well... I'm late." She said in all one breath. "Last time we had sex was about a month ago and I've been getting sick lately." I peered over at the hall to see if the door was closed.

"Tell you what. I'll take you to the hospital tomorrow to get a test done."

"Alright, sounds good." She smiled and picked Axe up and we sat down in the living room to watch the news. Thad came in wearing his usual jeans and V-neck T-shirt and asked me to stand up so he could sit on the couch as it was rather small. We planned on getting a larger couch, but not anytime soon. I sat on him and got comfortable as he wrapped his arms around my waist and turned the TV up. Thad and I hadn't been as close as we were after the game, and I felt I was in position to change it. I loved being close to Thad, and it was to a point where we hadn't even had sexual contact in over 5 months. The news flash came on loudly, announcing an important update on the campus of Blue Mountain State, the loving college and home of Thad, Alex, and Harmon. Thad shifted on the couch as he listened in, leaning forward with me still in his lap.

"The tornado last night took out the football field and some of the Blue Mountain State campus, as well as some of the popular party house known as 'The goat house'. Recruits will be needed for cleanup and the reconstruction of these landmarks and we will have an update in the next two hours."

Thad leapt up from the couch, tossing me on my face onto the floor. I felt my nose crack and I sat up, making sure I hadn't broken it. I angrily looked up at Thad as he made a lot of commotion, but no sound. Sunny helped me up and we stared at Thad confusedly as Alex came out of his room with normal clothes on. Alex saw the scene he was making as well as he cracked open the beer he grasped tightly in his hand, as he always had one.

"Moran! You remember?!" He finally exclaimed, moving towards Alex. Alex shook his head as Thad emitted a girly whine. "I went on a vision quest and they said there would be a tornado! I have to do something about this!!!" Thad cried as he ran out of the room, grabbing his jacket and boots and running out.

"Shit!" I shouted as I ran after him, "Watch Axe!" I yelled behind my shoulder as the door slammed behind me. I chased Thad out to the Dodge, where he hastily jumped in and started it. I barely got in as he was leaving.

"We're going to build a new Goathouse. It's gonna be bigger and better." Thad gasped for air and was hard to comprehend.

"Thad, I hardly think they'll--"

"I'm an NFL star." I shook my head at him, because he pretended that was the answer to everything. In half an hour, we arrived at the campus of Blue Mountain State, or what was left of it. Pieces of our old home were strewn across the campus and the road, and I couldn't believe it. I stepped out of the truck, and Thad took my hand and lead me across the road and over to the bright yellow tape. he ducked under it and we approached the remains of the old house. I felt a gentle hand on my shoulder and saw Pauline and her daughter approach us.
