Famous? I Don't Care

Chapter 1

I'm the type of girl who is afraid to fall in love because of the many times my heart has been broken. I was at the mall with my best friend when I met HIM. That's when my life turned completely upside down. I've heard about him and his band once or twice, but I've never really cared. Famous or not he's just a normal guy. I actually dislike most people who are famous. Why? Well because they usually change their personalities and forget who they really are. They let themselves get controlled by other people. But not me I'm a singer/songwriter and if I ever become famous I won't let myself be controlled or care what other people say or think about me.

I met his other band mates and we all started out as friends. But who knew I would fall in love with 1/5 of One Direction, the band I never really new existed and that some would fall for me and my best friend.

When I met HIM at the mall my life completely changed for the better and the worse. Past secrets are revealed and tragedies occur. Will love conquer all or will I end up with a broken heart like always?

Chloe's POV

I'm Chloe and I'm 17. I lived my whole life in California, but moved to London, England with my best friend Andrea when we were both 16. I know what your thinking why so early? We both graduated early and were immediately accepted to the best Performing Arts University in London.

Anyways...

I went to the mall with my best friend Andrea. I just found out my boyfriend was cheating on me with one of my friends.

Way to start off my spring break, I sarcastically think to myself.

But to be honest I didn't care because I wasn't in love or anything and yeah I was shocked that it was one of my closest friends he was with. So Andrea took me to the mall to TRY and cheer me up. Neither of us like shopping we're different from other girls you could say we're the weirdest girls in the world. Haha but weird is good. Normal is BORING!

"Hey come on cheer up!" Andrea said while we entered Forever 21.

"I just can't believe that I wasted 2 months of my life with him. He cheated on me with one of our closest friends."

"I know. But at least you realized he wasn't the one for you."

"I know but we've all been friends for what..3 years? And it hurts to be betrayed that way. He turned his back on me and he promised me he would never hurt me." I said as tears began to form in my eyes.

"They both used me." I hissed while fighting back the tears.

"Don't cry. Just be glad that you didn't develop actual feelings for him." She said while gently wiping a tear that escaped my eyes.

"Your right. I'm glad we haven't kissed yet. That'd be a waste of a first kiss." I laughed blinking away the tears in my eyes.

"And probably won't ever get one. I'm never gonna fall for a boy again. They'll always turn their back on me." I simply shrugged.

"Oh don't say that Chloe. I promise that one day you'll meet the one for you. You're the best girl. Any guy would be lucky like I am to have someone special like you." She said reassuringly.

"Andrea I won't. I hate them so much now. They're all the same. I don't need a guy to make me happy since I have you. Promise me that no guy will ever break us apart and we'll always be best friends." I practically beg.

"Of course, no guy and I mean NO guy in the world will break us apart. I'll always be there for you and you know that." She reassures and takes my hands into hers.

Of course I knew. We always promised each other that whenever someone had a crush or boyfriend we would always stick together. But hearing her say that just calms me down and all doubts go away.

Anyways while Andrea was shopping at Forever 21 I decided to go to Starbucks. I haven't been there in awhile so I went to get my favorite drink. I realized that I forgot my bag at home but then I noticed there where $5 in my back pocket. I went in and ordered my drink. After they said my name I got my drink and was ready to leave. When I turned around someone ran into me and spilled my drink all over me.

"What the fuck!!" I screamed "Watch where your going you idiot!!

"I'm so sorry!!" He said "Let me make it up to you!!"

He was wearing sunglasses and a hoodie. He seemed around my age and he seemed really cute. But I was still mad that he made me spill my drink. So I just walked away.

I went back to Forever 21 to meet Andrea. She started laughing at me once she saw me.

"What the hell happened to you??" She laughs.

"Oh shut up!" I started laughing.

I told her what happened and she wouldn't stop making fun of me.

"I forgot my bag at home. Can I borrow some money? I don't want to be a giant walking sundae!" I asked

"Yea sure. But I'm gonna buy the clothes because I don't think they'll let you in looking like that!" She said with a smirk on her face.

I agreed even though I hate when she buys me clothes because she'll usually buy me something that makes me look like ridiculous just to annoy me.

Once she came back I was glad that she actually bought me some decent clothes. We went into McDonalds so I could change in the bathroom. Once I walked outside I screamed my head off can you guess why??

That's right the same guy who ran into me earlier ran into me again dropping another drink on the new clothes I changed into.

"YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!" I screamed.

"Fuck! I'm so sorry!! I wanted to make it up to you by buying you another drink!" He said panicking. I thought it was kinda cute.

NO CHLOE! BAD GIRL!

"Ugh! Just leave me alone!" I yelled "Andrea let's go!"

I started walking but realized she wasn't following me. I went back to where she was. She was staring at the guy with a shocked face.

What the fuck?

"Hello is anyone there?!?" I said while waving my hands in front of her face.

The guy was just laughing at me. Awe he sounds adorable when he laughs.

SNAP OUT OF IT CHLOE!

"What are you laughing at you idiot!" I said.

"Umm Chloe, I don't think you should talk to him that way.." she said.

"Why not?"

"You don't know who I am do you? And I bet once you know you'll change your attitude towards me." He said smirking.

"And why the fuck would I do that?" I growl.

"Because I'm..."
