A Different Ending

Ten minutes later she walked in with a paper in her hand. It was amazing how quickly they can be printed. Then Peter realized the paper was much thinner than they normally were.

"Here you go, your own private addition of the Daily Prophet. Tea?" She waved her wand and a small tea set from the corner of the room, it instantly had tea in it and poured itself.

"So i know your story from know but everyone knew about your Hogwarts legacy. How about some of those stories, stories of the Marauders."

"You knew us at Hogwarts?" James was leaning forward his lazy smirk on his face.

"I was a couple years older but yes i knew about the Marauders." She laughed and motioned for them to start.

"What about Sirius and freeing him?" Lily spoke before James could.

"Just wait in about an hour they will come and take you guys to Azkaban to talk with him then take him to trial." Lily nodded and nodded for James to start again.

"Well guys what should we start with, first year? How we met?" They nodded and laughed as they recalled it and James started for Ms. Bowen and Lily.

"I was sitting in a compartment alone away from my cousin Marlean because i was fighting with her about something stupid at the time. I remember the door sliding open and Sirius standing there. 'Can i sit with you i don't want to sit with my family?' 'Of course, what's your name?' 'Im Sirius, Sirius Black and you are.' 'James, James Potter.' 'A Potter?' I remember he put on this snotty tone and i was worried we couldn't be friends but he was laughing to much to keep the act up. Then i put on the same tone, 'A Black our families hate each other.' 'I'm nothing like my family.' 'Good let's be friends.' 'Ok.'"

"How come when you met me you insulted my best friend but when you met him you were kind?"

"Oh Lily may reason that are not to be shared." He wiggled his eyebrows and Remus and Peter roared with laughter.

"How about when you met me and Remus?" Peter elbowed James. "This is the part where he insults Snivellus." He told Ms. Bowen.

"Oh OK, the door opened again and there was this shy little boy with a book is his hand who asked to sit with us. He looked like a huge nerd and was so shy he stuttered whenever he spoke to us." Remus elbowed him the the rib cage and James started again. "Fine, we were trying to break Remus out of his shell when we heard something outside that sounded, now being us me and Sirius grabbed our wands and jumped out. There we saw Peter on the ground and there was a boy standing over him with his wand pointed down. 'Watch where you're going you Hufflepuff.' the boy sneered so i shot him with the only spell i knew with was Stupefy. He flew back and a girl with fire red hair ran out and started yelling at me. 'What did he do to you, you jerk. He did nothing.' 'Actually...' 'Save it. Come on Sev let's get away from these people.'"

And this was the point James and Sirius made their mortal enemy and Lily. That enemy know as Severus Snape or Snivellus to these mature adults.

"So you did have a point of hexing him didn't you. And i wouldn't listen to you and decided then on to hate you. Well i was a great person back then." Lily grumbled.

"Yes you were Evans you were and are a great person." James flung an arm around her and nobody corrected him on calling her Evans.

"Just finish your story."

"OK well we invited Peter to sit with us and we all started talking, we bought so many sweets and ate them all. Remus was talking now and we're just having a great time. Then we got to the Sorting and i remember praying that i got into Gryffindor along with all my friends and, don't kill me Lily, that she was in like Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw. I watched Sirius shaking so violently when he was called i thought he was about to die. It called Gryffindor and i was so relieved."
