Lily had rushed straight over to Alice and Dorcas so the Marauders drifted towards Frank. They didn't want to look at what Death Eaters had reduced their friends to, but if Lily thought they would be able to help they might as well try.

He was looking at the weird like he was trying to pull a memory that didn't exist. His face scrunched up in concentration, an old habit from school. He gave up and his expression turned blank and unknowing.

"Hey mate long time no see." James came up and slapped him on the back. He flinched away. "Frank... Oi mate... Frank... do you even know who we are?"

"Moony what happened?"

"Bellatrix and the rest of the Lestranges tortured them until their minds turned to mush. Once this happened they sent them back as a threat to the Ministry, but Bellatrix was to happy about it and blew their cover. Now they're all in Azkaban. They don't remember barely anything not even Neville. Lily was right thinking we could help since we've know they for so long."

Frank walked up to Remus and reached his hand out. He stretched his fingers and touched the scar that ran along his face. Remus flinched away, but let Frank touch the scars on his arms, maybe they would help.

His face scrunched up again, he opened his mouth but nothing come out. He left Remus and went to the bed. Under the bed there was a small cardboard box. He was rifling through it until he found what he wanted. He walked back and held out a picture.

It was seventh year and the second to last day, it was late at night and they were trying to wake Frank to help them finish the prank. You see Peter with a plate full or whipped cream, Sirius with a bucket of water, Remus with a muggle air horn, and James just had his wand. Picture them did a silent countdown and unleashed all elements at once. Picture Frank sat up fuming. The message was clear. 'Is this you?'

"Frank do you remember us. Im Sirius. This is James and Remus." He was speaking slowy as if t a little kid.

"Padfoot he's not a little kid." Jane snorted.

Sirius huffed and continues. "Remember us? We also had Peter. You would get mad at us for being loud when you were studying... or sleeping. You put a muffliato charm on the room because we got noise complaints. Come on Frank... you have to remember us. How could you forget the Marauders?" That seemed to set something off. His eyes widened and he looked at James.

He opened his mouth and closed it. He looked upset then tried again. "J... Ja..." But that was it. He didn't say anything else but he looked at the picture and looked more alert.

"Yes! Guys guess what happened! Guess what Frank did!" Sirius was jumping around and Dorcas came running over.

"What happened? What did he do?" Her eyes were wide and filled with hope and concern

"He started to say James! We were asking him how he could forget the Marauders and he started to say James!"

"What exactly did you do again?" SHe had a note pad out.

"Well we were talking to him and telling him stories trying to make him think of the times we were talking about. He brought us a picture of all five of us at the end of seventh year. I was asking if he remember us, then i said how could you not remember the Marauders. The his eyes widened and he looked at James and started trying to say his name."

"OK you guys stay here and keep talking to them i need to go get other people on the Longbottom team." She sprinted out of the room. They followed her instructions and were talking to Alice and Frank both. They tried to do the Marauders thing again, but it didn't set Alice or Frank off so Lily was trying to think of anything that would make her remember.

Remus and Lily were talking with Alice and James and Sirius were with Frank. He hadn't said anything again but he was obviously more aware now.

"Oi Evans any progress over there?" Sirius called out and James couldn't help himself.

"It's been fourteen bloody years when will you learn it Potter. Remember we got married? Her name is Lily Potter. God Padfoot will you ever..."
