The Vampire's Sweetheart

Bonus Chapter:

Aleksandria turns Locaine into a vampire

3rd Person

───────────────────────────────────

Locaine Wilock had returned home from war. No one expected him to make it off the battle field. He was never one of the tough guys; he was an innocent, forgiving person. The general himself was counting the boy's days. He surprised everyone when he arose from the trenches, untouched. For his bravery, he was invited to the Winter Ball; where he would hopefully find his bride-to-be.

Dressed in his uniform, Locaine nervously walked inside of the building. It was completely crowded; filled with beautiful people, beautiful music, and beautiful food. He greeted people left and right, but was stopped in his tracks by a black-haired beauty, who was staring him down from behind another soldier.

The Russian woman, Aleksandria Mikhailov, was 512 years old. She was one of the few vampires allowed at the ball; no one knew just how dangerous this woman was, especially not the young soldier. Her jet black hair was curled and styled to frame her face perfectly. Her body was hid behind a black, laced, skin tight dress that flowed to the floor beautifully. Her red eyes shined brightly.

Ignoring the talkative soldier in front of her, who was pathetically begging for eternal life and power, her eyes focused on the handsome fellow who glided around the room gracefully. If it wasn't for his lack of confidence, she would have mistaken him for a young vampire. His unique silver eyes glimmered as he admired everything around him. Her lip twitched upwards in a small hungry smile. She wanted him.

Locaine bravely walked up to the two, and bent introducing himself politely. She gave me a gentle smile, before nodding her head at him respectfully.

"May I ask for a dance mi'lady?" His voice was soothing, and she closed her eyes momentarily allowing it to relax her body. How she wished this man was her beloved.

Her hand slowly joined his, and he pulled her to the center of the room where the other couples danced gracefully. His hand raised hers while the other one wrapped around her waist. Her eyes connected with his, as she waited for him to take the first step. When he did, she swayed with him.

"You are brave." She spoke. He was surprised by the sound of her voice. She had a thick accent, and her voice was seductive and raspy. Although, it pleased him and sent a pleasurable chill down his spine.
