Chapter Eighteen

Daya's P.O.V.

(Saturday, March 4th, the day after her birthday)

I hate shopping.

Arriving to the mall I was excited and anxious, because I have never been in a mall before. But as soon as Destiny, Emma and Chole started dragging me from store to store and making me try on outfit after outfit burst my bubble.

My feet is killing me from the constant walking and my arms are about to fall off from the amount of bags I'm carrying. We all have at least five to six bags full of clothes and shoes on our arms, but Noah and Liam has more than us of course.

I have a full wardrobe now full of everything you could imagine. Kaden gave me his credit card so that I could buy whatever I desired. I was against it at first telling him I have my own money but he refused.

We are now heading to the salon. This is the part that I was looking forward to. I want a hair style that represents the new me, not the afraid and weak girl I once was. I talked to Noah about helping me train and he was all for it but I dont think Kaden will be.

"You know what we should do?" Chole asked grinning from ear to ear with hopeful eyes.

"What?" Emma dragged out cautiously.

Every time Chole gets an idea it can lead to something good or bad. Like when Chole had this perfect idea to try on shoes, not knowing that she was still in them walked out of the store and a security guard chased us around. At first we didn't know why he was coming after us so on instinct we just ran. Turns out Chole still had on the pair of sandels from the store. We apologized and Chole ended up buying the shoes. It was funny aftwards though, but at the time I was scared shitless.

"How about we all go with a shorter look and cut our hair shoulder length but different colors so we wont look completely alike ."

I thought about it for a moment then decided that's actually a good idea. I think I want to dye it a midnight black color almost blue. But before anyone can say anything Noah spook up.

"I don't think you should do it Destiny. I like your hair long and plus..." He paused and whispered something in Destiny's ear making her giggle. I have a feeling about what he said but I dont want to get into that.

"Sorry guys I'm out." She chuckled and kissed Noah's cheek. I saw Emma wiggle her eyebrows at them making me let out a small laugh.

"What about you guys?" Chole asked giving us puppy dog eyes.

Emma looked towards Liam.

"I'm fine with it." Liam spook shrugging and smiling at her. She smiled back and nodded her head towards Chole telling her she will through with it.

"I'll do it." I approved. Chole squealed and hugged me.

We finally walked into the salon. It is filled with people getting their hair done and the smell of beauty products. We told the guys they could just leave the bags and go do what the wanted to do, which was eat. I really wanted to go with them but I know Chole would drag me back.

We had to wait a little while until spots were available. Until then we had small conversations. I feel like I can be myself when I'm around them. I think I finally found true friends.

"Do you think Kaden will like it?" I shyly ask Chole while Emma and Destiny were talking to each other.

"Are you crazy?! Of course my brother will like. He would like you no matter what. Even if you cut on of your hair off, he would still love you no matter what." Chole ranted while taking me into a hug. I huffed her and let out a breath.

She's right. Cora butted in.

I know Cora. I said mentally rolling my eyes.

When we pulled away from the hug we saw someone standing in front of us. The girl was around my age with a percing in her nose and lip with firey red hair. She smiled down at us.

"Your seats are ready." She informed us, motioning for us to follow her and we did.

We were placed and back leather comfy chairs that spin.

"What would you like done?" The cheerful hair dresser asked.

"Umm, could you cut it shoulder length and dye it a midnight black color." I spook. She nodded her head and got to work.

After alot of pulling, washing, drying, and curling, it was complete. She turned the chair around to face the mirror and I gasped. It's so pretty. She put in large curls so that it frames my face and it's so silky and smooth. I love it.

This is the new me.

"OMG! Daya you look so pretty" Chole exclaimed.

She had her normal blonde hair but it was shorter and slightly wavy, same as Emma's except hers was dark brown on top and the ends are a light brown color. Destiny hair was still long with curls in it instead of her usual straight hair.

"Thank you. You guys look amazing as well." I spook excitedly falling in love with my new hair.

When everyone was done we all exchanged compliments, payed and called for the boys. A couple minutes later they were walking up to the Salon taking the bags in their hands. Our next stop was the food court.

Once there I ordered a pizza pretzel. I picked that because I wanted pizza and also a pretzel so I just decided on a pizza pretzel. It is so good. I was to into the pretzel to see what everyone else got. This was the best part of this shopping trip, the food.

We threw our trash out and was on the way to the phone store because Kaden mindlinked Liam and told him to make sure I buy a phone since he trashed my old one. I dont really know what to choose so I let Destiny do everything. When we finished at the phone store we were off to the pack house.

I'm the car I played with the phone and programed it. Everyone gave me their numbers and we took pictures of our new styles together.

When I heard the car pulling into the driveway I looked up and was met with a large limo and a group of people standing out of it. I spotted Kaden in the crowd with a frown on his face. He does not look happy.

We all got out of the car when it came to a stop. I got out slowly not knowing what's going on. There was a older man and women, along with a boy who looked younger then me with a girl hanging off his arm.

The women has long, curled brown hair flowing down her back, she has brown soft eyes and slightly pale sking. Her facial features are similar to mine along with her hair and skin.
The man standing next to her has short slicked back brown hair with percing blue eyes. The boy looks like a replica of him but just younger and no facial hair. The girl hanging from his arm his dark skinned with black hair pulled back in a neat pony.

When I got out of the car everyone's head instantly snapped towards me. The womens eyes started to water along with the man's. They rushed over to me engulfing me in a tight hug. The women let out a sobb and hugged me tighter.
