Daya's P.O.V

Glass is lied broken on the ground, along with pieces of wood and fabric everywhere. But what really caught my eye was what was on the wall.

There on the wall was letters, but not just any letters. Letters written with blood, red, dripping blood.

'See you soon, my Queen'

"Ezra!" My mother cried out with tear sliding down her cheeks.

She is squeezing tightly on to the knob of the door and she looks heartbroken. She was so excited about this room and now it's destroyed.

I just stand there with my eyes wide with fear. I don't know what to do or say. My eyes are focused on the bloody words on the wall

I could hear multiple feet pounding against the tile floors.

Kaden's arms wrapped around me protectively as I stood there shocked and afraid.

"What is the meaning of this?" My father voice echoed through the halls as he stepped in front of Kaden and I moving us to the side.

He reached for my mother hugging her crying body to him.

"We're going on lock down. Tell the guards to man every inch of the palace. No one comes in and no one goes out." He demanded the men behind us. They immediately bowed their heads rushing away.

"I'm so sorry, Daya. I wanted this all to be perfect." My mother sniffled.

"It's not your fault." I told her, moving away from Kaden and giving her a hug. She smiled softly, wiped her face and pulled away.

I looked around the room again. My chest starts to burn with rage and all I can think about is ripping that fuckers head off with my bare hands and smearing his blood on the fucking walls and see how he likes it. My vision is red and it's becoming very hard to keep my wolf and element in control.

A low growl emitted from my lips and I can feel my control slowly slipping from my grasp. My cains start to elongate and nails sharpen. It feels as though I am floating, and I look down to find that I am. My wolf and element are working together? This is new and dangerous.

'Get back in your damn compartments' I exclaim to Cora and Element.

'No! We have to protect our pup.' Cora spoke for the both of them.

'How the hell is killing everyone going to help dumb ass!' I yelled at them once again.

They completely blocked me out and I was forced to sit back and watch them terrorize these people.

The hall is now packed with people. They are all surtounding me and lookinh up at me with marveled expressions. I spun around taking in all of the familiar and unfamiliar faces. Everyone, except for my family and mate, bowed their head, show I h their neck and submission.

"Love, calm down, please." Kaden pleaded, reaching up attempting to bring me down. Element moved us out of his reach and Cora groweled.

'Stop. Please. This won't help anything.' I begged.
