Daya's P.O.V.
"I think it's time we consider going back to the Palace." Thomas spoke out, his arm slung over Bella's shoulder.
"No. Not yet." Kaden stated firmly.
"Kaden, he has a point. We will soon have to move there, anyways." I reasoned turning around to look back at him.
"I know we will have to, but that time is not now. I worked many years to maintain this land and my pack. I am not going to abandon that because of a 'Rebel King'." Kaden calmly said sitting back in the chair with his arms crossed. I could hear the hint of disgust he threw in there at when saying 'Rebel King'.
"Kaden." I stated turning my face to him.
He lifted me off of his lap and stood up aff of the chair, leaving the room.
"Kaden!" I exclaimed shocked that he really left the room. Like what the hell? He knows that this time was going to eventually come.
"Don't worry, Day. He just Needs to calm down. As you can tell he has major anger issues. You don't want to see him when he is mad. It's like a atomic bomb of Kaden. When he starts talking calmly, that's when you know shit has hit the fan." James illustrated a bomb with his fingers and falling over a little.
I nodded and sat down in the chair with my head in my hands.
"So... I agree with Thomas. We should leave, it's not safe here. Especially for the children. But the whole pack has to come along." I began, hating going against my mate, but I have to do what's best for us.
"Of course, dear. There is more than enough space for everyone." My mother smiled gently. I nodded and looked towards my friends.
"Is everyone okay with having to leave? I'm sorry I have to ask you all of this, but I just want to keep everyone safe." I asked them.
They all nodded understandably with smiles on their faces.
"I'm sure it's going to be hard for us, but we'll make it work." Chole said. I nodded and was grateful they didn't refuse.
"We understand Daya and I'm sure the rest of the pack will too. But for now I think you should go talk to Kaden, we got the the boys." Liam spoke pointing towards the door.
I smiled at them and began heading out the door. Before I left I thanked them for understanding and my parents I will talk to them later.
"I will be right back, Malik." I told him while crouching down besidd the couch, pulling the head phones out of his ears.
"But you said that last time and it took one hundred years." He whined placing the phone on the side of him.
"Aww, I promise I won't take long. I will come right back to get you." I told him kissing his forehead.
I wonder if He thinks as Kaden the same way he thinks of me, If He feels the same bond that we feel towards Kaden. He has already been trusting and brave enough to call me his mother.
"Okay." He said sadly.
"I promise." I whispered to him ruffling his hair a bit.
He nodded and I headed out of the door and followed Kaden's scent. It led me down stairs and out of the front door.
He must have went for a run. I kept sniffing the air for his scent letting my nose carry me to him.
