Viktor had returned that night around 12:38 PM. He crept into the room, the lights still on. Yuuri was lying on his side, quiet sobs escaping him. Viktor approached the bed and laid his body nexts to Yuuri's"Yuuri?" He whispered, but got no response. "Yuuri." he said a bit louder. Yuuri turned his body to face Viktor, his sobs silencing, but tears still falling. "Oh my love... What have their words done to you..." Viktor brought Yuuri into his chest, neither worrying about changing into more comfortable clothes. They both fell asleep like that, body's tightly wound.

"Where am I?" Yuuri blinked his eyes. He was in Hasetsu, to be more precise, outside the Ice Castle. He looked around and noticed that behind him was a street, none of the usual buildings, just a street with a fading border.
Yuuri decided to walk into the ice rink since there was no other place to go, taking a step forward he looked down shocked to see he was wearing his skates. He carefully made his way inside, past the front desk, and area with lockers. He walked to the rink and gasped when he saw Viktor on the ice.
"Viktor!" Yuuri exclaimed and made his way around the edge to the opening in the wall. He stepped onto the ice, suddenly remembering that his skates were on, but upon inspection he realized they didn't have covers on the blades. He slid out towards viktor, making it halfway before suddenly hitting a wall.
Yuuri tapped the air in front of him and found it to be a barrier. "Viktor?" He called out and Viktor turned around, smiling his usual kind smile at Yuuri, but not saying a word. Yuuri kept tapping the wall till an unsettling crack behind him caught his attention.
He slowly turned his head and looked upon the ice with horror, his stomach suddenly dropping. The ice was shattering slowly behind him starting at the opening he had went through. It kept growing and growing forcing Yuuri's back against the wall.
"Viktor? Viktor?!" Yuuri whipped around and started to slap and bang the invisible barrier. "Viktor! Viktor please help!"
"Yuuri?" Viktor asked with a confused expression, but he didn't move. The ice was falling all around him, darkness in its wake, and Yuuri didn't know what to do. he pressed himself desperately against the wall, his head becoming dizzy with fear.
He looked into Viktor's eyes pleadingly, but soon felt emptiness beneath his feet. the last thing Yuuri saw was the confused and worried expression of Viktor before he was swallowed up by darkness.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yuuri's eyes flew open, but he wasn't in the hotel, he was in the center of the ice rink from earlier. Thousands of people sat in the stands, their blank faces filling Yuuri with more unease. Yuuri stepped back, skates once again on his feet.
Suddenly flashes were all around him, people shouting incoherent words and hands grabbing at Yuuri. Yuuri felt his eyes well with tears as the screaming continued. Soon all the flashing seemed to fade and before him was Makkachin wagging his tail happily.
Makkachin approached Yuuri who was on his knees. The old poodle licked Yuuri's cheeks and pressed his nose against Yuuri's. Around them was light and peaceful, below them their reflections, repeating the display of love and affection. "Makkachin." Yuuri gave a small smile and pet the dogs head before everything became white.
Yuuri woke calmly for the first time in a while. Next to him was Viktor, lying in the same position from the previous night. Yuuri sat up after removing Viktors arm from his side and stood, making his way over to their suitcases and pulling out a simple pair of jeans and a T-shirt to change into.
He heard the shuffle of the duvet meeting suit fabric and turned to see Viktor sitting up sleepily rubbing his eyes.
"Goodmorning Vitya." Yuuri smiled softly making his way to the bed and sitting on its edge. Viktor slid off the bed and stretched.
"Goodmorning my love." He murmured, kissing the top of Yuuri's head as he walked past him towards the bathroom. Yuuri seated himself on the couch and flicked the TV on as the sound of the shower played in the background, he put the news on, and although he wasn't sure what they were saying, he was still able to understand what the weather would be that day.
When Viktor walked out of the bathroom with a towel around his waist he walked to the couch Yuuri was on, sitting next to him. Yuuri leaned into Viktor's side and cuddled his head against Viktors chest.
"It's going to be warm today." Yuuri stated and Viktor nodded. "Would you like to go sight seeing?"
"Sure." Yuuri said in return, but not moving from his spot. Viktor pulled his phone out and checked the time, 10:17 AM. "Lets leave at 11:30" Yuuri said and looked up at Viktor from where his head rest. Viktor nodded again, putting his arm around Yuuri. Yuuri scooted closer to Viktor and handed him the remote, growing bored of the news that was on.
Yuuri and Viktor decided to simply take it easy today since they would be busy the next two days, at least Viktor would be. They went to a little cafe for lunch then proceeded to check out shops around town, buying little thing that they didn't need, Viktor even stopping by a floral shop to pick up a couple flowers which he presented to Yuuri soon after.
The two decided to go back to the Hotel before dinner, dropping off their various bags, putting Yuuri's flowers in a vase they got from the front desk, and changing into semi formal attire before heading out once more to enjoy the fine dining and nightlife of Milan Italy.
