Dear, Viktor Nikiforov.

We cordially invite you to be a judge at the Grand Prix's next event, The World Championships. It will be held in Milan, Italy on the 19th and through to the 25th of March 2018. We hope to hear your response within the next couple of day's as to discuss your transportation, seating, and schedule.

Sincerely,
Grand Prix ISU Secretariat.

Viktor read the letter over and over again. Him? Judge? He was shocked at the invitation, even if it was just a small message on a large piece of paper. Yuuri watched him anxiously, a strange feeling growing in the pit of his stomach that he couldn't quite place.

"What does it say?"

"They want me to judge!" Viktor yelled out and shook the paper slightly in his hand.

"Who are they?" Yuuri asked curiously, the strange feeling growing a bit more.

"The Grand Prix! The Grand Prix Yuuri! This is amazing! Oh! I should email them quickly so I can get my schedule and..." Viktor continued rambling, but it turned into white noise for Yuuri. Viktor is leaving?

No no he's not. He's just going to judge, then he's coming right back

What if he doesn't come back? He's left before, what's stoping him from leaving again?

Don't be ridiculous. He loves me. He won't leave.

"Yuuri!" Yuuri blinked quickly as if to force his mind quiet.

"Huh? Yeah?"

"Did you hear me?"

"Y-yeah!" Yuuri stuttered as a feeling of guilt crept into him. Viktor skeptically looked at him then nodded his head.

"So what do you think?" Yuuri froze up, had Viktor asked him a question? Viktor was staring at him as he became nervous. Answer. Answer. Answer!

"That sounds good!" Yuuri blurted out and Viktor's suspicions seemed to wash away as a smile took place on his lips.

"Great! I'll send a response email asking if you can come as well then."

Huh? Go as well? To Italy? What??? That's what I agreed too?!? Shit! I should have payed attention!

"Yeah that sounds great." Yuuri replied quickly and got up. "I think I'll go make some tea. Want some?" Viktor shook his head no as he pulled out his phone, quickly being absorbed in the bright screen. Yuuri hurried into the kitchen and clutched his chest.

Why is my heart beating so fast?

Because you're scared?

Scared?

That he'll leave you.

He's not going to leave me! The letter said he was going to be a Judge for that ONE event. He even said he'd ask if I can go too.

And if you can't go?

Then... then I'll wait for him to come home.

IF he comes home.

He WILL come home.

Yuuri, frustrated, reached for a clean mug on the counter, remembering suddenly that he had already made tea and that both mugs were on the kotatsu. He planted both his hands onto the counter and took a deep breath.

He was being too nervous, there's no way Viktor would leave, especially since he had been the one that wanted to get back together. That's right! Viktor was the one who came and got me! Well not physically, but he sent someone for me... and now we're back together and happy and we'll open the hot springs when either both of us or he returns from Italy.

If he returns.

SHUT UP.

Yuuri turned the kotatsu off as well as the TV making the room dark. He glance down at Viktor, who's outline lay passed out on the floor and nudge him wth his foot.

"Wakey wakey. Come on we have a bed."

Viktor mumbled incoherently and pushed up half his body with his arms. Yuuri chuckled and nudged him again. Viktor eventually got himself off the floor while in the meantime Yuuri tidied up the kitchen.

Yuuri peeked into the dining room after finishing and noticed that Viktor wasn't there. He turned the kitchen light off and walked through the dining room, to the hallway, shutting any open doors as he made his way to his and Viktor's shared bedroom.

He walked into the familiar room and smiled slightly at the large lump in their bed. He walked towards it as he pulled his sweat pants and shirt off and comfortably pulled one of Viktor's T-Shirts that he kept on the floor next to his side of the bed. He climbed into the soft sheets and let out a sigh of comfort.

Viktor immediately rolled over and threw an arm across Yuuri's chest, pulling Yuuri close to him. Yuuri felt Viktor's warmth through the T-shirt and a wave of security passed through him.

How could he ever doubt Viktor? He and Viktor had been able to patch things up AND get back together after being separated for seven years; that still made Yuuri smile every time he thought about it.

I really should trust Viktor. All he's doing is going to Italy to judge the Grand Prix. And I might be going too! Italy is beautiful in the spring... I think? Even if I can't go I'm sure Viktor will come back to me as quickly as possible. I trust him... I trust him completely. Everything will be fine. Yuuri snuggled into Viktor's chest as he let his thoughts rest. Everything will be fine...

Will it?
