"So this is my last day huh? Of course, I'm nervous... Yes... I do want to go home. Viktor told me he had a surprise for me... And I think I've learned to love surprises... No, I won't miss this place haha sorry... I do appreciate everything its done for me though. Yes yes I know I will be seeing the therapist you recommended regularly and I promise to remember to take my medication. Geez, you sound like my parent haha... hah... You know... I'd like to think my parents in the sky are at peace right now... as am I... Oh, it's already time... Ahahah I bet Viktor is already waiting in the lobby... All my stuff was packed last night so... this is it... Merry Christmas doctor and... Goodbye."

Viktor stood with restless toe-tapping, the patrons around him in the spacious lobby paying him no mind; behavior like his was frequent here. He checked his phone for the time, making sure he wasn't TOO early. The only thing they had given him once he had signed all of the lines on the papers regarding Yuuri was a recyclable bag of Yuuri's belongings. There were plenty of empty seats, but Viktor couldn't bring himself to take one, his excitement and nerves were all over the place. although the seats were empty that didn't mean the lobby was empty. Lots of people also seemed to be in the same predicament as Viktor; Standing anxiously and watching the same double doors. Viktors hand clutched the bag as his heart raced faster and faster as the chattering lobby became flushed to silence by the ticking of the clock on the wall. He just needed to be patient and calm.
All thoughts of being calm swept away with the winter breeze outside when Yuuri stepped through the double doors, a coat hanging from his arm and a nurse leading him with a smile. When he noticed Viktor his smile seemed to grow and the taller mans heart swelled when he knew it was genuine happiness in his eyes.
"Look, I got a Candy-" Viktor refused to let him finish as he wrapped his arms around Yuuri tightly, the plastic bag lightly tapping Yuuri's back. "Cane." Yuuri laughed the last part out and returned the hug equally as tight.
"This is the best Christmas gift ever." Viktor said sweetly and placed a warm gentle kiss on Yuuri's lips; He didn't care about the other citizens in the lobby, as far as he was concerned they could go choke on a marshmallow if they had a problem. Yuuri laughed again which broke their kiss, but caused Viktor to laugh as well.
"I could say the same." Yuuri finally responded, but Viktor suddenly had a smirk painted on his face.
"We'll see about that." Before Yuuri could respond he was being dragged out of the lobby, the nurse that had brought him out waving him goodbye; Yuuri's face shown red when he realized that the nurse had been there that whole time. Looking away from her, he matched Viktors fast pace and followed him out into the cold, The coat in his arms the last thing on his mind.

The car ride home was full of playful jokes and terrible singing, a Christmas radio station on in the background. Yuuri took a deep breath and glanced out the car window as Viktor broke into a solo of 'All I Want For Christmas Is You'. Everything they passed registered as home in Yuuri's mind, even the snow. The car grew silent when the song was over and the commercials played. Viktor's hand reached over and grabbed Yuuri's, this little gesture causing a soft, bursting feeling to well up in his chest, Like blowing a white dandelion into the air.
"We're almost there." Yuuri could listen to Viktor's voice on repeat. The car slowed to a stop and Yuuri excitedly sprang from the passenger seat and out into the snow that piled along his front yard, the resorts front yard, home. Viktor went around the front of the car and hugged Yuuri again. "Wait right here."
Viktor carefully, but quickly, walked up to the front doors and grabbed what looked like the end of two long chords. He connected them then made his way back to Yuuri. he took one of Yuuri's hands and covered Yuuri's eyes with his free hand. He led Yuuri only a few steps before turning him around and moving his hand.
