Dear mother,
Well-my unofficial mother,
You're not my real mother but it feels like you are,
Because.....
You pick me up when I fall,
You scold me when I'm stupid,
You comfort me when I'm sad,
You help me when I'm down,
You talk me through things,
You're always there for me.
I don't say this enough but I'm so grateful to know you,
I'm so grateful to talk to you,
I'm so grateful for you to be there for me,
And I'm really grateful to feel like family.
You try your best I don't think you could try any harder to help me be happier,
And that's what Unoffical mothers do
They help the people they love their unofficial kids.
I know it's not easy to put up with me but I know you do,
If you didn't you wouldn't have been there for me all those nights,
So thank you from the bottom of my heart.
