This is too fun.

DarkLix's POV.

I held the small girl in my grip, even though she was under my control. The ghost of Katy floated past, gasping when she saw me. I grinned.

I love scaring them.

"Well... Hi." I said casually, like they had just come round for a cup of tea or something.

"Hi." The young voice said back. I looked at the speaker. A little girl... I think her name was Mika, smiled happily at me.

I also love ignorance.

"Mika, she's bad." A too-familiar voice hissed to her. Emmy was near... But where?

I scanned the surroundings. Finally, I gave up. She was somewhere. I drew my attention back to where Katy was.

"Come quietly or I'll slit her throat." I said quietly. Katy gasped. I grinned.

I really love scaring people.

Her ghostly figure started to float forward. I grinned. She was so gullible.

Katy! Don't! Martha's voice echoed in my head.

Shut up. I told her fiercely.

"Katy! Don't!" This time, Emmy was shouting again. WHEREE WAS SHE?!

Katy looked back at Mika. "I have to." She whispered. I laughed.

"I have to." I mimicked. She clenched her fists. I laughed again. "What are you going to do? Scare me?" I taunted. Her fists relaxed again. She knew there was nothing she could do.

Clever girl.

Behind my back, with my free hand, I started to form the weapon. A soul-catcher. It can catch souls. Surprise surprise.

When Katy was close enough, I swung the knife. Her ghostly form started to be sucked inside. I grinned as Emmy shouted her name.

Too late.

I laughed as Emmy's voice echoed around the empty land. "Too late." I said, still laughing. She stared at me. I could feel her gaze... Just couldn't see her. It was getting annoying.

"Martha..." She began. Martha perked up. Yeah? "I know your in there. Fight. Fight it!" Emmy's voice started to crack. "Do it for Alaska... And Luna... And Sylvia... And Katy..." She sobbed. I coughed.

"I'm still here... Remember?" I said. Mika glared at me. I glared back.

Martha knew my plan. It was fun to see her struggle. RUN! She  was screaming. Her voice was cracking. She was... Slowly... Giving up.

Finally.

A piercing scream echoed around. I cringed, and teleported away in a whoosh of dark magic.

I really do adore scaring people.
